Fidel is one of the nicest men I have met here and his food is delicious! I got the al pastor tacos y carne asada tacos and they were honestly the best tacos I have had so far here in Yuma AND phoenix. The meat had great flavor and tasted fresh. It felt very homemade and made from the heart, we will most definitely be coming back and I would recommend this place to everyone. He also caters!

I wasn’t expecting much when I pulled up to this little hole-in-the-wall spot, but wow—Fidel’s Tacos completely blew me away! The tacos were absolutely delicious—packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and that perfect balance of seasoning and texture. Every bite felt like a surprise in the best way possible.
It’s the kind of place you might overlook if you didn’t know better, but once you’ve eaten here, you’ll keep coming back. Fidel’s is a true hidden gem, and easily one of the best taco spots I’ve ever been to los frijoles rancheros y los tacos de canes were on point with both the guacamole and red salsa. Highly recommend!

Everything was great! We had carne asada tacos and the meat was flavorful, the salsa was spicy while still having a delicious taste, and the tortillas were the right texture. We also ordered some of the frijoles charros… BOMB! Literally as we were walking out an old friend came in telling us he came specifically for those beans! Also Fidel was very kind and welcoming he made us feel at home. 10/10 we will be back!

Our family were just passing through Yuma, and had been disappointed by tacos we had in another part of town. We saw this cart pod on our way back to our hotel and stopped. With tons of options, I consulted Reddit and found Fidel’s mentioned a few times.
First off, Fidel was so kind and friendly! He loved our little baby and even came out to say hi. We got carne asada and Al pastor tacos. They were so yummy! But per the recommendations online, we got the frijoles charro. THAT was a treat.
10/10 would recommend checking out Fidel’s. Only difficulty may be the hours.
