My lunch bunch group had lunch on Friday, 5/16 & we were celebrating some birthdays. A couple of the servers must be new & in training, but there were a few poor service areas. We asked for extra ice, she brought some, but she carried the glssses w/her fingers in the glasses; I asked if your yummy strawberry/turkey salad was on the menu, she said she would check(she never advised if it was); some of the ladies asked for dessert, but never got forks to use, one person had to ask for a fork 3×; since we were celebrating some bdays it would have been nice if wait staff acknowledged this. We were towards the back entrance on the south side terraced area w/fountain& a lovely area. Thought you should know about this. The Garden Cafe is one of our favorite lunch places. Thank you, Judy

This place was sadly a disappointment. In reading some of the reviews on here it makes me think they paid for the reviews or they are just not being honest with the reviews. Just FYI they don’t seat customers between 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM not even for coffee. I ordered the Tri-tip BBQ sandwich and it came with beans and a salad. The food was mediocre and over priced ($20+). A meal for two here cost almost $50 and that was with us only drinking water. I will end with one positive the birds were a nice touch (:

This sweet little restaurant is tucked into a lovely tree lined area behind nondescript buildings. The shade was welcome in the Yuma sun and the numerous birds were a special treat.

Haven’t been in years and finally got to go today! We called for a reservation which I highly recommend doing! Our server (Jamie?) I believe was awesome. Food came out fast and delicious. I got the chicken salad sandwich with the tortilla soup & our server recommended to add jalapeños, sooo good!

Me and my wife were there for breakfast waiting to be seated all the staff that was working saw us waiting but we're totally ignored guess we were the wrong color this was our first time there we will never go back. We left

My first time visiting December 17th, 2024. The atmosphere was amazing, I loved the environment. However the food needs a major amount of improvement. I ordered a club sandwich and that thing looked like it was made in prison. The bacon looked like it had been sitting out for over a week. The turkey was quite literally a slab of dry, chunky turkey and the ham seemed like it was the lowest grade of meat available. Needless to say the sandwich was flavorless and very dry. My boyfriend ordered a tri trip sandwich and that wasn’t impressive either. The beans that were served with the sandwich looked over a week old, the meat was extremely dry, the bread seemed like it was barely hanging on. This is a lovely spot, I just wish the owners cared about the quality of the food they’re serving. I definitely will not be coming back.

I would give The Garden Cafe 6/5 if I could. It's the most unique cafe I've been to in a very long time. Wonderful food, staff, and atmosphere - birds everywhere, with sparrows flying free and lots of budgies in a huge enclosure. Propane heaters for those days when the temp drops below 75 and the locals get a chill 😁
