The saimin was about a third of what the photo on the menu was. No one to ask questions, you order from a touch menu. Disappointed
I love Hawaiian BBQ food. Since I started working in Yuma, I haven't had time to go out to eat, and thanks to their service, I can place my order and pick it up in no time. I love the food and the service they provide.
Always AWESOME to grub here… My youngest’s Fav spot for Bobas!
These people need to be shut down. My plate had a piece of hair inside of it. Terrible that I couldn’t enjoy a dinner due to their stupidity and carelessness. I hope they lose all their business because this should never happen. No sense of cleanliness and who doesn’t double check a plate before they bag it? Nobody wants a dirty and filthy piece of hair in their food. I’m truly disgusted
We found this place by reviewing Yelp, it was a little hard to find because the Google seemed to want us to drive up to it but the road ends before the sidewalk to the restaurant. Once we realized that, it was easy to park behind it and walk right to it (they're located right beside the movie theater, just to the right).
They had a good selection. I forgot the name of the gentleman that took our order, an order gentleman - he was very nice and helpful (egg allergy, so I always have a lot of menu questions). They also offered the option to order online or via their tablet at the counter, so they definitely make it easy.
I wasn't impressed with the meal. I ordered Hawaiian BBQ Chicken, which was fine. It was a little rubbery and there was practically no flavor. The lettuce at the bottom of the styrofoam container had more flavor than the chicken itself. They offered hot or soy sauce, I do wish they would have offered more of the sauce they use for the food prep, because I would have taken them up on the offer of it.
The hubs ordered Hawaiian BBQ Beef and said his was 'okay'. He had a bit of my chicken and said he did like the beef more than the chicken.
Our dishes came with rice and mac salad - they allowed me to do 1 scoops of rice since I'm allergic to egg. The rice was well cooked and tasted fine, but again I would have LOVED to have been offered the sauce they used for food prep. The hubs said the mac salad was not good, he kind of got a fishy taste.
Totally casual atmosphere, down to the styrofoam containers and plastic ware.
I hate to judge a place based solely off one visit, so we'll visit again. And, of course I'll update my review when I do.
Thank you for reading my review.
I got a mix plate with beef and chicken. There was a good amount of chicken but only 3 small pieces of beef. They gave me ONE soy sauce packet and a tiny cup of some kind of sauce. I went back to the counter and asked for teriyaki sauce and they gave me ONE tiny cup. They were very stingy with everything except the rice. I got 3 scoops of that. All this for over $19. There’s another similar place in the Frys shopping center in the foothills that has gallon jugs of teriyaki with a pump on it and glass bottles of soy sauce so you can get what you need.
Hawaiian chicken was good. Great service. Small place. There is some sort of funky smell in the air in all the restraunts there.

40 minute wait. Watched others that ordered after us get their orders and leave before we got ours. Food was okay, drinks were watery. Guessing it was a bad day but won't go back tbh

The food was decent. We got a plate with white rice, mac salad and bbq beef. It was very quiet and dim here. The girl who helped us was alright. The thing that bothered me was that there were gnats (or some type of small flying insect) flying above our food the whole time (see image for reference).

Ok, I just ate the BBQ mix plate and a Spam Musubi. I hate leaving poor reviews. The food was tasty for Hawaiian food in Arizona but if they ever served such thin short rib in Kalihi they would be kicked off Oahu. I doubt I will return. If I do, I will stick with a chicken dish. Just a lot of $ for such modest servings.

I ordered out today and I recommend for everyone not to go here anymore. Today I ordered the orange chicken rice bowl and when I consumed two bites, the fried orange chicken on the inside was raw and pink. Lame excuse from the cook it was their second day, you ALWAYS check your food before you serve it. Like it was coated for maybe 1 minute and coated with the sauce.
I am never coming here again. Poor excuses and poor handling of my food.

Really friendly service and food is made to order. We had the Kalua Pork Mini Plate and the Seafood Combo Plate. Both were delicious, but no photos because we got it to-go while on a road trip ?

Never eating here again I spent 35$ on 2 plates and both plates had black tiny bugs in them now if your making rice this is why you clean your rice you are serving bugs in peoples food and giving it to them and charging big invested food that is not okay I will be making a complaint to the state about your business disgusting
