I travel a good bit for business and always love to ask locals where to eat. This as one of those suggestions. you could smell the smokes meats as we turned the corner on main street. The decor is eclectic with swing seats, and back end of pick up trucks with tables in them. The menu has a number of great smoked meat alternatives. I ordered the dump truck, s hugr sandwich piled high with pulled pork and brisket and topped off with mac and cheese. It was huge with meat falling our of the bun It was too big to pick up and eat so i broke it up. The mean combined with the mac and cheese was a great combination and the ciabatta role it was on was fresh and tasted great They had a number of sauces but why cover up good smoked meat with anything. I cost was under $20s with a drink. I would highly recommend if you are ever in downtown Yuma.
I love the atmosphere and the food was just amazing. The bread was so soft and the meat was really juicy. You can tell all that everything was freshly made. Even my friend got seconds even though we got done eating.
If you have an opportunity to eat at this restaurant I would highly recommend it
Family owned and operated. Closed on Sundays. Great smoked meats, tender and tasty. The Last Supper meal has 4 pounds of different meats, 4 side of your choice, and 4 cornbread. It is the best price option for a family. Their sauces are very good. Support a local business family!
This place has a really cool vibe. The food was under whelming. The smoke was really good. The delivery just seems off. I had the dump truck the mac & cheese was undercooked and very bland. The meat lacked flavor. i did appreciate the barbeque sauce options. The bun doesn't make sense for barbeque it just seemed like a miss match. The atmosphere was a 10, and the food was a 3, not what you want in a restaurant.
Love this bbq spot one of my favorite restaurants in Yuma W food service and atmosphere only complaint is there is no Pepsi products 🐖🐓🐄
Super friendly service and very tasty food.
Enjoyed our dinner at ‘Holy Smokes.’ Menu is extensive, the restaurant is creatively designed with some truly unique features (pickup truck beds ‘repurposed’ into seating, etc.) Menu is extensive and creative. Our pulled pork & brisket entrees were somewhat dry when we visited. In fairness, this was our first and only visit. Having a ‘barbecue joint’ in downtown Yuma is a great addition. We’ll be back.
The best part of my trip there was the guy behind the counter,,he was hilarious!! Oh,,food was great also!! Especially the salad with out the BBQ sauce!! Lol!!
Would highly recommend the Holy Cow sandwich. Just melts in your mouth.

Like to go to holy smoke whenever I'm in town. I keep forgetting that they are closed on Monday though, so it is sad when I miss out. Today I had the brisket tacos with green beans. Great stuff!

Great food and service. The bowl would not empty!!! So stuffed. They had such good sauce also for the BBQ. Don't really need it though. We shall return!

Had the Holy Cow sandwich and loaded potato salad for lunch. Came with a corn bread muffin and three kinds of house BBQ sauce. I could smell the smoked meats from down the street and it was an excellent decision to walk in! Super friendly staff and the food was quick. Love the inside decor, very clean.

Came here for my birthday last week and I have to say the food and overall experience was underwhelming. The tri tip and smoked brisket were dry and a bit cold. The chicken was kinda rubbery and a bit cold as well.
The pulled pork, ribs, and corn bread were wonderful. I would go back for those. Mac n cheese was okay, same for the potato salad and roasted corn.
This place has a lot of potential. If the food came out hot, not so dry, and seasoned a bit better, I'd be coming back in a heartbeat.
Also some spicier options for the BBQ sauce would be greatly appreciated for those who like some real spice in their food ??

First, the food was amazing. I usually don't like potato salad, it was the best I've ever had. Corn bread muffins were moist and delicious. Everything was amazing. Service was phenomenal. We were in and out in 35 minutes.
Kid-friendliness: My 12 yr old and 3 yr old loved it. My toddler is sound sensitive, he always complains about it being too loud. He didn't complain at all.
