Permanently closed, soon to be a BBQ restaurant 😞

I had the chilaquiles with shredded beef, my son had the rolled taco lunch and we shared the chicken enchilada. All of it was freshly made and tasted delicious. Friendly atmosphere, and I heard mimosa flights are coming soon so I'm definitely going to be back!

Our food was horrible. We had a cheese tortilla and the tortilla was old. The folded taco was supposedly shredded beef but looked more like canned cubed beef. We were served on paper plates

Food was not the best, for a restaurant all our food was serving paper plates. Didn't finish our food we just left

Wow! What a wonderful place to stop at in Yuma. Authentic Mexican food and friendly service. Every plate our party of 5 ordered was delicious, especially the tamales! If you're craving lemonade, try prickly pear because it is exceptional! Additionally, the interior of the restaurant is beautiful and made us feel at home.

My wife and I went to la fonda Mr de barro last night and the food was absolutely amazing. Atmosphere was wonderful with a gentleman in the corner playing guitar and singing Mexican and classic rock tunes, he's very good. I had the Carnitas dinner(not on menu)and my wife had the Summer salad with Grilled chicken both meals were excellent and service was great. T 5.0 was so nice of you

I'm surprised to see some of the reviews regarding the taste of the food. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and there were only a few patrons in the restaurant, so our service was fine - the young lady helping us was attentive. We ordered a combo #1 and combo #3; the beans did seem like they could have used some more salt, but we found the rest of both meals to be very tasty. We'll visit again on a Friday night to get a better feel for the atmosphere when they're busier, but again, we felt the food was great!

Great traditional Mexican food in a wonderful Mexican environment.

Yes, it has changed a bit, however it still serves a lot of familiar dishes and a few new ones. Tried their Pork Wings as an appetizer and really loved the flavor and how tender the pork was. Almost like crispy carnitas on a stick...

Small serving. Plate had small burrito. But nothing else for $11.00. But the meat was good. Did not really like salsa.
