Very tasty mahi and salmon tacos. We loved their guacamole and chips and the service was super friendly. The skinny cucumber jalapeño margarita was the best marg I've ever had and I've tried a lot! They have a comfortable, dog friendly patio and they couldn't have been more welcoming. This is a great choice for anyone looking for tasty Mexican food in Yuma.

Delicious tacos with grilled instead of deep fried fish. Service was fast and friendly. The interior is bright and cheery but the constant ads for their food on the tv is weird. Prices are a little on the high side.

This place was so good. We had to eat there twice. Stephanie was our waitress and was fabulous and the food was even better. First time it was warm so we eat cold and on the way back it was cold so I got the octopus and my daughter had the mixed seafood chowder bread bowl. Whenever we go Tucson again, we're gonna stop in Yuma at this place!!!

There's not a lot of places open Sunday here, but I'm really glad this place was! Everyone there was super friendly and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. Ok...the food! Highlights: the chunks of Mahi Mahi were moist and seasoned well. The Torito dipping sauce should be on tap cause I'd drink a glass of it, and I love the seasoning on the chips! If you have a chance, definitely stop by here...it's worth it! On a scale of 1 - 10, I'd hit this place again!

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and had the place to ourselves. Definitely got the royal treatment by the staff, the service was outstanding! And the food!! Just wow. The menu is pretty extensive so I had a hard time narrowing it down (everything looked so good!) but decided on the fish ceviche, a fish taco, and the gobernador marlin taco and everything was fantastic!! Pleasantly surprised by this place from the service, to the food, to the atmosphere (super fun beachy vibe). I'll be back to try more of the menu!!

Stopped into Mariscos Mar Azul while passing through Yuma based on prior Yelp reviews. Could not have been happier with the dinner we had. We had the Folded Fish (tilapia) Tacos and the Octopus Platter as our entrees. If you love octopus this dish, though listed as an appetizer, is for you. There is no skimping on octopus in this dish - you will get your fill. And the avocado and cucumber slices, tomatoes, onion, lemon juice, and chili powder add to the brightness of this cold dish. BTW - many seafood restaurants have at best one octopus offering. This restaurant has no fewer than 4 choices focused on octopus and several more that include it as a mix with other seafood. Lastly, our server was terrific and patient in explaining the menu options to us.

I've eaten there about thirty times. Their food is always fresh and cook to order. I've taken friends there many times, and nobody has come away unhappy. The place is well organized and the service is very good.

This place is so good. The food was amazing and our server was even better. The restaurant was bright and clean. Nice music in the background. My husband had the whole tilapia and I had the octopus plate . Our daughter had salmon tacos . I also enjoyed a great margarita or two . The food is fresh and comes out fast. Portion sides are great. Will come back for sure !

Today was my first and last experience with this restaurant. $60 for chips & salsa. The chips were not homemade or fresh, they are covered with seasoning on the chips that are not delectable. The shrimp cocktails taste like they were put in pink water, no flavor whatsoever. To have the name Mauriscos on it I thought I was getting something authentic and it was the furthest from that, not to mention the environment was thrown way off with pop disco music instead of Mexican music. Any how I was heavily disappointed.

We were served by Sarah today and she was amazing with food recommendations and service providing our drinks and food in a timely manner. This place is always so clean, music is loud enough to enjoy but low enough to have a conversation. Today we enjoyed chips & guac, shrimp soup, carne asada taco and my bf had the tacos that have melted cheese and shrimp inside. We also had pacifico michi and a paloma, both were cold and delicious. Everything we ordered was amazing. Highly recommend the chips and guac!

Went during a kitchen shift change, service was good. The food is excellent. This is where this restaurant really packs a punch and is getting this 5 star rating. The food reminds my family and I of a restaurant in TJ called Don Pepe. The insides of the restaurant has a ocean theme. The chairs are not as comfortable as one would think, but they get the job done.
