I ordered online so I can only really comment on the food, but it was very good. I really enjoyed the Mac and Cheese, very creamy and delicious 😋 I think I actually like the texas toast better here than Cane's! Overall I think the quality is good, the prices are a tad high compared to other spots, but I was definitely full after eating 😊
Finally got to try slim chickens, Yuma location. Let me start by saying that the customer service expertise that I had was AMAZING. From beginning to end, cashier (don’t know her name but has burgundy hair) she was nice and patient (I had 4 kiddos with me). As we were eating we had the manager (I’m assuming because he was wearing a button down blue shirt) and 2 other gals approach us at different times asking if everything was good and asking if we needed anything. To me that’s top notch service, I hope they are getting paid well! Food was good, my kids LOVED the chicken tenders and the ranch. I loved their French fries dipped in slim chickens sauce. Extra sauce is .39 cents I believe, which is fair because it’s good but I wish they didn’t charge extra. Lots of drinks to choose but their teas are so good! One thing that SURPRISED ME was that their bathrooms were IMPECCABLE, so so clean, that was great. Lots of parking and they also have drive thru but we had a great dine in experience!
This was my first visit. The chicken tenders were delicious and amazing juicy.
Amazing cashier named Isabella (absolutely amazing and super welcoming) and super fast service. Clean facilities and amazing food as well. Look forward to coming here after my work.
I don’t know if I will be eating here anytime soon I was looking forward to trying the food but from what I’m hearing around town the manger is very immature and rude from what I’m hearing is they hired a lot of employees and are slowly letting them go with no warning simply just removing the employee from the schedule and no longer contacting them so you think would be the case there are several screenshots from mangers there being posted on conversation between mangers and certain employees and I promise they are very much not manger appropriate delete my review if you like just because it’s not a good one does not mean it isn’t the truth
I’ve been here three times. Only the first time did we love it. The second time they messed up our entire order mind you it was 5 combos which was about $100 so we were upset. When we complained they said there was nothing to be done. They were sorry. Okay we tried going one last time. I do like the tenders and love the toast. Again we didn’t get sauced my wings were dry and cold and all the extra toast I ordered wasn’t there. I didn’t even call anymore. It’s sad because it’s a good concept and when they followed the recipes it’s good but the bad customer service and getting the order wrong every time just doesn’t work for me. Won’t be coming back.
The service was pathetic. The person taking our order (Brenda) was rude when I mentioned that I am vegetarian. I ordered the salad meal. My husband ordered a sandwich meal. When the food was brought to the table, both orders were given to him! I asked where my meal was and the server said that she didn't know. I took the salad. Then I had to request a fork. The server had to go get one!

I stopped by Slim Chickens around 2 PM during my lunch break, looking for a good place to eat since they just opened. Karen helped me, and she was incredibly kind, helpful, and amazing with explaining everything. For a newly opened restaurant, she did an amazing job. I’ll definitely keep coming back, not just for the great food but also for the fantastic employees who make the experience even better.

Brenda at the register was quite aggressive. Absolutely no patience in letting us look at the menu and spoke so fast we asked her to slow down and she was just so aggressive. Nearly Walked out. Food is meh.. Chick-fil-A is better. Ifnyou like salt.. they will more than accommodate. Wings are way over cooked.. dry and tough. It's a hard pass for me.

Sub-par chicken and fries. Another franchise sucking money from Yuma, AZ.
Update: Don't plan on eating this while on a road trip unless you're towing a bathroom. My goodness.
Owned by Arizona? That doesn't make any sense.

Word-of-mouth brought us here through drive thru for combo meals of fried tenders, delish fries, fried okra and soda w/ a strawberry shake. Loved the patience of the staff when ordering. Upload of the app was easy. Will return in the future.

The kids at the front were too busy joking around while the line was getting longer & they kept sitting with their friends in the back of the restaurant being very loud. The food is SO SALTY! I ordered the 3 by 3 with a side of fried pickles and couldn’t finish any of it. The bone-in wings were dry. The garlic parm, the pickles & even the bread was so greasy but the salt was phew.. even the ranch couldn’t save it!
Redeeming qualities:
- David, who was extremely nice & professional bringing us our food. He also was doing an excellent job at keeping the floor clean and sparkly. Thank you David!
- The desert. We will be returning but only for this bc it’s soooo good.
