Chile Pepper has been our favorite Mexican food for years BUT that is no longer true. The reason is the change of flour tortillas. The tortillas are so bad the burritos are no longer good.

I stopped going to chili pepper a long time ago and I recently went again. Now I remember why I stopped. The corn tortillas from the rolled tacos taste stale, different corn tortillas, burritos very dry and bland. Salsa tastes like tomato sauce.

I give it a 1 star only because the Diablo Burger combo with fries was nasty. I drove by during my lunch break via drive thru, This burger has no flavor at all and the fries taste awful as well. Adding ketchup didn’t even make a difference . I DONT recommend this 14 dollar combo at all. It is too expensive for what it is. Not worth it. I gave it a 3 for service only because I asked for ketchup and the drive thru employee handed me one little bag. In reality I would give it zero stars if there was an option for this meal. They should fix this or remove it from their menu.
