We went to fish fry last week and server was NOT good. She was more concerned about the vape in her hand then doing her job. She seemed to be bothered to be at work. Attitude is everything. We talked to some friends that happened to be there that same night and had the same experience unfortunately. We had to Flag down another server to get drinks. The food is always pretty good.

Tacos were not much. Mostly empty shells. The long Island ice tea tasted like lemon aide. Waitstaff was ok.
The place was busy but I was far from impressed by the food of the drink.
The place was nice staff was fine kitchen was well they should be fired.
Probably management sitting on their butt not concerned with quality. Probably fire them too.

The food was very good but our service was not. We had to ask for drinks every time. I guess if your not a resident, there is no need to pay attention to your table. There are several places with very good food and very good service that I would rather spend my money at.

I hesitate to visit when the winter visitors are here, but it happens when friends come to town. Last night’s (11/07/2025) Friday fish special was unbelievably busy, and we’re still weeks from the Thanksgiving crunch. However, it always amazes me how they are able to accommodate so many people and still remain, well, composed and upbeat. And, the food is consistently wonderful. Nope. Don’t know how they do it. We’ve only visited for the fish special, even during the summer, but last night I took the time to look at their menu. They have some mouthwatering offerings. I know the fish plate and the 8oz sirloin steak and sides look like the displayed pics. Yep, must come back for something else. Lunch looks like a good time!

Ribeye steak was supposed to be medium well. It was medium rare. Mashed potatoes tasted weird. Fish was so so. Fries were warm not hot. Country fried steak was thin and again so so. Server never checked back with us. I won’t go back.

My husband and I attempted to have breakfast 2 times in the last 3 weeks. Had to ask for my mimosa 3 times before it was finally delivered the previous visit - the only thing that stopped us from walking out was that our food and my mimosa were finally delivered at the same time. Today - 10/23/25 10:45am waitress who ignored us and the same bartender who once again watched TV rather than make my mimosa - we walked out after telling ‘the hostess’ why. I advise everyone to avoid Westwind Bar and Grill in the morning if you are not ID as a resident or on site guest. You’ll get no service. Go elsewhere.

The food was amazing! Our server Jason was awesome. The price was average but with the taste and quantity of the meals are definitely with it. We will definitely be back.
Nothing here but average, from my experience lunch is better than dinner. I go with a group and nothing stands out.

Everything was good. The only thing for me was my bread on my sandwich was hard toasted, so when I bit into it, the bread cut into the roof of my mouth.
