This is a hillbilly bar, as suggested by a friend. The food was good, service was attentive, I was the only person of color in the joint but I felt fine. This experience was normal for a bar an grill.

It’s so good and inexpensive! Big plate! The extra fish & chips! Shrimp fetucini with lots of creamy sauce! We go back once a week to taste the other dishes! Drink 2 glasses comes back @ $9 and impeccable service!

Had lunch here Wednesday ( our 48th anniversary). We have been wanting to try this place for a while. It was fantastic . I had the prime rib dip and my wife had a burger. Both were delicious. The staff were very attentive and professional. It was a bit noisy due to a womens Christmas party, but that's to be expected ,at this time of year. We will be back soon.

Had the carna asada torta special for lunch with a side of tortilla chicken soup. Sandwich was served with a bit of mayo on a homemade bread (torta) with a bit of mayo, threaded lettuce and small amount of diced tomatoes. The soup was the star of the show. The carna asada was dry and tough but did have good flavor. The torta - ie bread was nice. I asked for extra mayo - wish it would have come with salsa and sour cream - should have asked for that instead of mayo. Also had a glass of house Chardonnay - over priced. Service was good.

Ok three strikes and your out. This was our go to place to eat last year during our stay in Yuma. This year has been a disappointment. While the food has still been good the service has been terrible. Last night (friday) we arrived at about 4:30. Waited about 45 minutes to be seated which was ok. Sat there for 20 minutes without any server even saying hello to us. Finally asked a passing waitress if we had a server assigned to our table. She said she would see and came back to take our order. After another half hour waiting for our food another server brought it out. My fish was cold and my wife received a philly cheesesteak when she had ordered a prime rib sandwich. We ate both meals anyway just to get the hell out of there! There are alot of options at which to dine in the foothills. We will not be choosing Westwind anytime soon
