Rolled in and Jacob greeted us like we were old friends — dude’s got mad people skills. Grabbed a spot at the breakfast bar, and boom — coffee hot and ready before we even blinked. Solid start to the morning.
The food? Unreal. Fresh, flavorful, cooked just right — you can taste the care in every bite. Vicki, the GM, even came over to vibe with us and break down everything they’ve offer catering wise. That kind of personal touch? Rare these days.
Also, shoutout to my wife — she snapped the photo of her breakfast because, let’s be real, I totally forgot. She’s better at remembering this stuff than I am.
If you’re into good food, chill vibes, and folks who actually care about your experience, this place is a must. We’ll definitely be back for round two.

I went to Black Bear Diner. Yuma, AZ location. The manager served my food to another table. The waitress returned in to the kitchen. The kitchen staff pretended to take it back, waited maybe two minutes then sat it back under the warmers to be served. The manager brought the plate to my table. 🙃 when I asked about the situation, she pretended she didn’t know what the cooks did and went to check. When she returned she said she comp the meal and have them remake it. The next plate came out in less than five minutes and only looked like the refried my onions rings. Nothing was remade. Then my waitress proceeded to not return to my table the remaining time we were there. Only to bring the check. Terrible experience. Just nasty.

As we first moved into Yuma, decided we could get a good breakfast here. Our 1st attempt was no joy. There was an over 30 minutes waiting. Our second attempt was better. I had ordered the Biscuits and Gravy. The Biscuits were huge, not enough Gravy to take care of the meal. Service was Very Good. Good Flavor. Reasonable Pricing.

Hubby and I came for lunch. We were greeted nicely and taken to a table immediately. About a minute later our waitress asked of we wanted something to drink. I looked up from reading the menu and was met with the look of boredom. Never smiled. I ordered a BLT toasted on white bread. The waitress delivered our lunch and was walking away before I could say thank you. The bread was barely toasted and most of the bacon was very undercooked and sloppily assembled. Didn't take long to eat but she never came back to ask if everything was ok. In fact, after giving us our lunch, we never saw her again. We tried to get the attention of another waitress but she was too busy chatting with a coworker. So, my husband went to the waitress station to get a box for his left overs. We then decided to go to the cash register by the entrance to see if that lady could find our waitress for the check but she was able to access our bill on the computer.

We enjoy eating at B.B. diner for their excellent customer service. The moment we come in we receive big smiles from Albert, Great service from Holy, Elizabeth and Jewl (?). I recommend stop and treat yourself to Great meal and get Great service.

Took family with 2 teens out for dinner here on a Saturday night. This location was not too crowded and the 6 of us were seated as soon as they pushed some tables together. Full menu available entire time they're open, so lots of good choices available. Our server was patient & attentive. Everyone got exactly what they ordered. We had quite an assortment of dinner, lunch & breakfast selections. Food was served quickly & tasted good. Place was clean & kept up nicely. Will try this stop again.

I ordered a glass of the nice Cabernet Sauvignon from the menu, but they brought a glass of an inferior wine to the table, without notifying me that they had run out of the better wine. They never did tell me. I happened to see the other bottle as she poured it into my glass. Very deceitful! The manager apologized, but said they couldn't legally lower the price.
