I was super excited to try their food. I asked what was in the chicken melt...I was told chicken and cheese. Get my food and my fries were cold and my chicken melt had onions in it. Needless to say I decided not to eat at all. I hate onions.

Dropped in to meet a friend over breakfast. Restaurant itself is functional if a bit dated. Staff was very attentive, we must have been asked if we needed refills 6 times over a one hour meal. Food was solid diner breakfast. I had 2 eggs, sunny side up, 2 slices of bacon, shredded hash browns and brown toast, cost $14.

Loved it at Smittys Great mix of customers with a nice atmosphere. Special mention to Tammy who looked after us and was a ray of sunshine Really enjoyed the breakfast - full English and mushroom / cheese omelette. Big portions so filled us up for the rest of the day. Hoped to return on our way back to Vancouver but ran out of time. I noticed mixed reviews but honestly we enjoyed everything about it.
