I was up there December 2023 and they had just changed owners. It was alright, but you can see they were trying to get organized. But before that, the owners before were great. And I'm expecting it's gonna be the same.
Loved it at Smittys Great mix of customers with a nice atmosphere. Special mention to Tammy who looked after us and was a ray of sunshine Really enjoyed the breakfast - full English and mushroom / cheese omelette. Big portions so filled us up for the rest of the day. Hoped to return on our way back to Vancouver but ran out of time. I noticed mixed reviews but honestly we enjoyed everything about it.

Dropped in to meet a friend over breakfast. Restaurant itself is functional if a bit dated. Staff was very attentive, we must have been asked if we needed refills 6 times over a one hour meal. Food was solid diner breakfast. I had 2 eggs, sunny side up, 2 slices of bacon, shredded hash browns and brown toast, cost $14.
