This wasn’t my first time at El Companeros, but it was one of my faves! My daughter wanted to go somewhere she hadn’t been before so I suggested my favourite taco restaurant. As always the staff were lovely, but they were extra lovely to my daughter! The kids menu was also SUPER reasonable and had awesome options. She has declared this to be the place she wants to go any time we go out for dinner.
I came to El Companero to try their brunch menu. When I took my seat and table, I was immediately served with complimentary tortilla chips with medium blended salsa, which was nice. I ordered the Huevos Doblados with Birria Beef. Everything was delicious. The ingredients in the Huevos was fresh and flavourful, with the salsa and guacamole topping being very piquant. Absolutely incredible, from the freshly made food, to the amazing service, the salsa was crisp and fresh and we tried almost everything on the menu, all dishes were fresh and authentic. We had a large reservation and food came out fresh and hot and virtually at the same time. The atmosphere was festive and fun. Cannot recommend this place enough.
