Small little hole-in-the-wall, with possibly the best Chinese food I have tasted since I used to work in Chinatown I Vancouver. Hot and Sour soup is incredible along with the Spicy Chicken and Rice lunch special.

We thought Hot Chili House may turn out to be a hidden gem after reading some very glowing reviews and testimonials online. Since we were in the mood for takeout this weekend we decided to give them a try. Very disappointing. Their house special ginger beef was overcooked: most pieces were very dry and difficult to chew. This was exactly the texture I expect from low quality beef that's cooked for too long.

The spicy string beans didn't fare much better. They were a bit too soft and wrinkly, a sign of overcooking again. The most egregious thing about our meal was the utter lack of flavour. The string beans were not too spicy, which I appreciated, and I could tell some salt was added, yet nothing brough out the natural flavour of the beans, nor was there a kick of anything going on seasoning-wise. The beef was heavy on the ginger flavour but the overcooking pounded out whatever texture or flavour could have been salvaged from the meat.

I've learned to set my expectations lower as someone who moved to Abby from the Lower Mainland. But it looks like I'll have to resign myself to the sad reality that no Chinese cuisine in town can come close to matching even a mediocre meal at a HK cafe or Cantonese diner in Vancouver or Richmond.

It's a really small placevwith only about 6 tables with 4 seats. We had take-out and will make this our usual go-to place. We were only two people, but had enough for three meals.

This food is so delicious! And their prices are very budget friendly. Best Chinese I’ve had so far. The interior is not all that fancy but don’t let that fool you. Great tasting food at a great price. Can’t go wrong with this.

I absolutely love the food here and the service is always friendly and welcoming. Hands down the best Chinese food in Abbotsford. I always recommend chilli house to anyone looking for good food in the area. If you're not sure what to eat ask for suggestions, they will always help guide you to something you will like.

Every Friday we order lunch specials at work. My favorite are either ginger beef or szechuan beef, food is amazing, portion size is perfect and the price is unbelievable. It's cheaper than drive through and so much better.
Co workers love king pao chicken, ginger beef and the usual stuff.
A lunch special has a good serving of meat, white rice and a small bowl of wonton soup (ask for chili oil) we also add an egg roll and its honestly our favorite part of Friday

Waited a long time to order this food like all the other reviews. Where do you begin? First of all took over one hour to deliver around the corner the food is very bad quality taste. I eat Chinese food from around the world and this is definitely in the top five worst Chinese restaurants possible Almond chicken is tasteless beef and black bean sauce. I don’t know what the heck that was pork fried rice. You’re chewing something and can’t figure it out yet. Crispy Wong tongues is a joke. Just save yourself time effort and money and go to Dragon Fort, where it’s 100% better , the owner of this restaurant should also save himself a lot of grief and just close up now if he thinks he’s a cook and knows about Chinese food this guy is ridiculous. Junk food junk service.

One of the hidden gems of Abbotsford. Been there for 12 years & never heard about it! Family Szechuan Chinese restaurant, I had Singapore noodles, Wontons with Chili & Garlic, Prawns In Curry Sauce, & Ginger Beef. Fast service, food on the table in 5 - 10 min, everything was fresh & excellent! Very fair pricing too with $11 lunch plates. Popular with the locals. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great place! Chicken with chili and peanuts rocks and so does the fried rice. It has a right amount of Szechuan peppers and perfect spiceness. I come all the way from Surrey just for that. Highly recommend this place!
