We were coming back from basscoast festival and wanted somewhere to stop half way for something tasty so we went to Ashcroft and randomly found Sam’s diner. It’s a nice diner, very clean and great service. Sam the owner and chef is so lovely. My husband had fish and chips and I had sweet and sour chicken. We were both super happy and had clean plates!The fries are legendary … the other reviews are true. It’s a no frills kind of place but it has a lovely sense of community and does delicious food at a great price!The burgers looked good too!Looking forward to coming back and it might just become an after festival tradition for us.Tell your friends!

We travelled from Abbotsford and demanded that we find a local establishment instead of the typical fast food choices.Sam’s Diner was kindly recommended to us by Google, and, it did not disappoint.From the moment you enter Sam’s, you are greeted by, you guessed it, Sam. Sam is an absolute beauty and one of the nicest individuals we’ve met on our journey.The fish n chips, and the burgers were marvelous. Accompanied with them were the Ashcroft-famous crispy fries. They are to DIE FOR!!!!!We highly recommend you take the opportunity to eat at Sam’s. You will not regret it.
