We were coming back from basscoast festival and wanted somewhere to stop half way for something tasty so we went to Ashcroft and randomly found Sam’s diner. It’s a nice diner, very clean and great service. Sam the owner and chef is so lovely. My husband had fish and chips and I had sweet and sour chicken. We travelled from Abbotsford and demanded that we find a local establishment instead of the typical fast food choices.Sam’s Diner was kindly recommended to us by Google, and, it did not disappoint.From the moment you enter Sam’s, you are greeted by, you guessed it, Sam. Decided to stop in Ashcroft for lunch on our way home, and were super impressed by the food. They had vegetarian options, and the Beyond Burger was well cooked, all the vegetables and bun were super fresh, and Sam even made a salad as a side (usually just offer fries). My boyfriend had the beef dip with fries and was really impressed. The fries were delicious on their own and didn't need any salt or ketchup. 10/10 would recommend.
