Finz Resort / Finz Bar & Grill / Cafe

As a regular customer, we went for the first time today and not sure what to expect with the new menu. Well, the food was amazing. Great presentation as always ! Portions were great. Our regular waitress , Bekki, was pleased to see us and our comments. For those of you who have been hesitant about the menu… Go try it, you won’t be disappointed! See you again soon!!

Love all the changes at Finz this year! The bar is a great vibe! Same great service. I came with family and we ordered the burrata, chicken wings (soooo good!) beef taco, ceaser salad and pasta and finished it off with a lemon tart. Loved everything! The martinis were delish!!! Looking forward to patio season even more than usual!

I would like to give a review for our server Cate on Sunday night. Not only was it her 3rd day, and our meals all had modifications she was great, fast and knowledgeable with the new menu. We had a small glitch with my drink which was fine as it probably ended up tasting better in the end.

Not enough food. Slow service. Soupy crème brûlée. Disappointing.

Sad to see the food quality decline, my friends and I attended Finz yesterday. We ordered a variety of food items and for the most part we were disappointed with the majority of food. We ordered the nachos and were shocked to see such a minimal size with liquid cheese on top of the nachos. We also bought a Cobb salad with chicken. The salad portion was extremely small and the quality was not the best. The crème brûlée was very watery. All in all we spent over quite a bit of money for less than mediocre food.

If you choose to come I would pre-eat and stick to drinks.

Rented a kayak here, amazing views, great service at the cafe and rentals. They are all so kind and attentive. Would definitely be back

We went last night waitress was great, good atmosphere.
We sat inside however the doors were open to outside so a bit breezy. The food was good, fish and chips were great. Cod fish was thick deep fried but not greasy. My dish was crunchy hot chicken bowl with sticky rice was good. Lemon pastry dessert was good. Prices have jumped just like everything else I suppose. I would recommend going good atmosphere, good service and decent food.
I had 1 non alcoholic drink and a beer came to $100.
Was a great memory for my pal from out of town & I.

On April 22, 26, my husband wanted to go to Finz, after hearing how nice it was. Though the cafe was nice enough clean enough , we asked if we could sit inside as it was a warm but super windy day. So they have walked us over, then said pick one of those in the sun. I came for the beef dip my husband had showed me on an online menu. it was not available anymore replaced with a sandwich. As I am highly allergic to seafood , it left with either ordering a hamburger or pizza. I ordered a 26 dollar, hamburger, the bun was not fresh my burger was not great hamburger low tasteless , fries warm but look like frozen fries like you get a a grocery store. not tasty either. My husband got the expensive 2 piece fish and chips, he said he regretted it felt like frozen cheap fish thrown in a deep fryer. As we were eating , the boss showed up pulled out girls to give them seating areas for service but they did this right in front of us with their backs to us. Looking out my view was a trailer with an old man folding his laundry in the campground. people at bar returned their food for being hot on outside cold in the middle. Another family was leaving , said its okay but i would not reorder that. So if you think your getting quality food there, i think they are saving money by offering cheap food for high prices. My young waitress seemed to being doing more than the other girls so i gave her a good tip , as I do not blame her for the actions of management.

It was a wonderful experience at the beginning of the season. We rented the kayaks for four hours, which was the perfect amount of time to enjoy the water and explore. Steve was very kind and gave us great advice on where it was best to paddle. The kayaks were comfortable, and the life jackets were new. The prices were also very reasonable. Highly recommend! 😊🛶

We camped at Finz end of the summer season. The weather was still good to rent a few seadoo’s and pontoon boat. The staff was friendly , the restaurant was delish. The campsite’s need a bit of attention for the 2026 season, such as trees branch trimming so roofs and awnings of trailers don’t get damaged . We would definitely go back and recommend Finz.

Great place for good meal and spectacular views. We stopped here on our way to Red Deer. Our server was efficient and fun to speak with. Thanks for great experience!

Finz has the best location. My sisters were visiting and we had a fantastic dinner at Finz. The food was delicious and Becky gave us great service. Thank you!

Ate in once , ordered take out twice, strike 3 I'm out.

We stayed at the Finz Resort campground in a lakeside RV site for a week in late August. While we were there, we also dined at the restaurant and rented a pontoon boat and tandem kayak. We had the full Finz experience!

Major pros:
- Ideal lakefront location
- Restaurant offers excellent service and stunning views
- Great selection of watercraft available for rental
- Convenience of having the cafe, ice cream and gift shop on site
- Very good location close to Blind Bay Village Grocer so you can restock on essentials
- Adorable doggie mascot (Albert!)
- Staff are friendly, attentive and helpful

Minor (and they are minor) cons:
- RV sites are very close (get to know your neighbours!)
- Occasional septic smell in the campground

Our 3 kids really enjoyed their time at Finz and want to go back!

Finz offers the finest dining in the Shuswap Lake area. Your views are breathtaking and divine food choices. Our server/ Beccie went beyond to ensure our experience @ Finz was of excellence. Mahalo 💜🌹❤️
