Bowen Island Pub

I love this little pub on Bowen island. Good spot for a drink, bar food, and some live entertainment.

Too hot inside, food tasted average, no tarter sauce for fish fillet, price is high. Service was great.

Fried calamari for the win.

Easy to find spot for pub fare. Apparently, in Canada, burgers can only be cooked medium well to well done. So....we got pizza, which was good. Mediteranean pizza was actally very good. Staff was pleasant. Low key, casual vibe.

I came for some drinks after hiking mt gardner and waiting for the ferry. Bartender josh was good, he made me a rockin cherry cola and spicy poloma tho didn't tell me about the happy hour drinks till after I had my cocktails. I ate some burger sliders and nacho fries which were a bit pricy yet quite alright tho the bacon i ordered extra didn't come till I asked why it wasn't there. I tried to ask one of the floor staff if they could help me with food while josh was busy tho a few ignored me. I would come back if I'm on bowen island again for happy hour drinks.

I recommend you to come here when you come to the island. It's definitely a great pub to spend time in, drink and eat. The owner is very kind and thoughtful. Thank you again for the blanket and other things ☺️

The staff were very helpful. We told them we were trying to catch the next ferry and they suggested menu items that could come out quickly and even checked the ferry status for us! I got the fish tacos with fries which was tasty and the portion size was great. Also got a lager which was good too. Price was really reasonable and the decor / ambiance made for a cozy dining experience.
