Color me impressed. This little coffee shop on a small island has served us one of the best breakfast sandwiches we have ever had in a coffee shop. Beats lots of hyped places in mega cities. You can tell the ingredients used are fresh. No stale bread - no bland food. I had the caprese sandwich and my husband had the snugwich (he loved it so much, he ordered another one)

I hesitated a lot before coming here to write this review. i have always liked dining at the Cafe whenever i visited Bowen Island, and have only had one bad experience recently. We went to Bowen island for a hike in mid October and went there early in the morning. We ordered warm food, but the food came in plates that were icy cold. The food was lukewarm at best. And within half an hour after the breakfast when we just hiked into the woods, one of us had acute diarrhea. ...
