I stopped by this bakery for the first time this morning, and unfortunately, it will also be my last visit. There was only one staff member working, and he was very unfriendly, giving me a cold look from the start without saying a word. He didn’t even bother to ask if I wanted my two items warmed up—I guess they don’t unless customers specifically ask.

I had initially thought about trying their coffee, but decided not to, as I wanted to leave as quickly as possible. It’s unusual to feel that way in a bakery, which is normally a warm and welcoming place.

The whole experience felt more like a farmers’ market model—pick up quickly and go—rather than a proper bakery where you’d want to stay and enjoy what you bought.

When comparing atmosphere, service of Ca Croustille--I conclude it's better in my opinion than all other similar, establishments I've found in Vancouver. Both the product and coffee 5-star! And service and ambience excellent!

Bought a baguette to take home. Inside was soft and chewy, but the outside was very hard to bite through.

Love this cozy place. Great sourdough and love their jasmine tea. Also, they support local artists! Amazing place and team 💚

Ca Croustille has some of the best croissants I’ve ever had—especially the almond one, which is super flaky and rich. The pastries are always fresh, and the little cafe has a cozy, simple vibe.

was recommended by others to try their croissant, and was extremely disappointed…

not to mention…this croissant costs $5+ dollars (I can’t rmb the exact price), but I got 3 pastries in total and they were $18+

I don’t mind expensive pastries but this is so poorly made how is this worth the money I’m paying

I came hoping to enjoy myself, encouraged by the restaurant’s high rating. Unfortunately, the waitress was rude and passive-aggressive, which completely ruined the experience. The dessert was delicious, but due to the poor service, we won’t be coming back.

Used to get their almond croissant almost weekly at their farmers market location during summer, they were oozing with frangipane and were delicious. This year croissants are dry with almost no frangipane. I’m not sure if it was just a bad batch or did the recipe change but I won’t be getting them again.

This place has the presentation down, which some place that look this nice end up tasting basic. That was not the case here the pastries look super nice and the tasted equally delicious. Their prices were good with nice portions. Friendly staff with fast service. Overall it’s a great place to grab a tasty treat.

Just bought an olive croissant from the Farmers Market and got a fridge cold piece of pastry, most likely from the day before. For a $6/piece I would expect something baked on the same day

We arrived there at 4:20PM to enjoy some croissants before dinner time, however the blue hair lady serving us was so rude and noisy, we had a sleepy baby and she woke up because of all the noise she was making, she was slamming all the cutlery while cleaning, i understand how is closing a store because i close one by myself too, and that is not way to do it, we felt very unwelcome + she woke up our baby with all the noise she was making, the croissants are delicious but the service is bad, might not come back again, so disappointed.

I’ve been wanted to come since a while and
I finally did to try Ça croustille and I’m even beyond happy by my visit. The bakery have a minimalist design which I love, the team was welcoming. I got one lemon blueberry Roulée and it was just simply delicious, the layers of the dough were perfect and crusty plus the delicate lemon curd exhausted by the blueberry so yummy, a great balance with a generous creamy heart… I choose their London Fog because why not and same delightful and not too sweet. My friend tried their hot chocolate and peach tart same everything was really good. We definitely gonna come back ♥️
