Food is always fresh. Great service. I like the mirugai, salmon belly and the shimaji.

Honestly, the sushi here was mediocre. The rice was undercooked and dry. I did not enjoy the sushi here. The presentation of the rolls was nice, but the sushi itself was a let-down. Yummy roll was okay, but such a small roll for the price. Better off heading down the road to a place like Sushi U or SushiMoto. Very disappointed.

Ww ordered special combo+salmon sashimi and chicken and egg don. The sushi is fresh and yummy. The chicken don is so so.

I was expecting better,fresher tasting sushi. The California roll rice/ filling ratio was off. It was a bit of a let down. What really turned me off though was the state of the women's washroom. Why was the floor sticky?! So dirty. I have been to gas station bathrooms that were cleaner.

I love this place!! You have to check out the happy hour menu! $4 bottle of beers and $1.25 oysters like what?? There is so much this place offers. It's on the second floor so you get a nice view and the servers always deliver. See you guys 2-5 or 8-close Hehe

Delicious food it is a great restaurant although if you sit at the back you might hit your head on the lights as they are so low also the menus qr nfc stickers have Rick roll links so just use the paper menu but the food was great the sushi rolls were flavorful and at the perfect tempeture

By the way you can park underground or in the street but if you Park underground it is 4$ for 2 hours if I remember and the restaurant is in another building you have to go outside to see it

Food is good value, especially at Happy Hour.

Unfortunately the fish was not fresh and some were completely frozen still.

We ordered nigiri platter, seared nigiri combo, chawanmushi and a couple of nigiri’s.
It was disgusting. Never ate sushi without flavour and pulled a scale and 3 bones out of a nigiri I ate

Had a very nice dinner here during Bite of Burnaby. The food quality is excellent and the presentation is fantastic! I loved the sashimi, and the Unagi sushi was better than I have ever had.

This Japanese restaurant is located in the new shopping mall of Amazing Brentwood and has convenient transportation. However, the location is somewhat biased, and we need to enter the passage next to t
he Chinese restaurant.
The meal is just Happy Hour slot, and the food on the menu is half price.
All food is quite good, but we don't like salmon sashimi, so we won't order it again next time.

Sashimi salmon was perfect

Tako yaki, sashimi salmon and shakes are good I recommend everyone to come can try them. 😄

We have recently tried the Bites of Burnaby menu option. We choose between the two of us, the sashimi don and the tendon as our mains.

Looking from the pictures, one can see that the sashimi don was a bit underwhelming. I've had sashimi at other places where the slices were much thicker. Almost to the point where we've felt guilty for getting so much fish. But not here. In comparison, to the tendon, the size disparity is so noticeable.

Very disappointing for a bites of Burnaby special meal option.

On a different note, the restaurant is lively and the staff is attentive.

One of the best Japanese restaurants in Brentwood..Tako Yoki was amazing...
