American Cheesesteak Company - Metrotown

For the New Yorker: Meat’s a bit dry, bread was stale and cold, wish I had more sauce, and couldn’t tell I had cheese. I was confused with the presentation. There were two whole slices of tomatoes on top of the bun, not cut and not in the sandwich… just on top lol how do you expect me to eat that. Strange. Also ordered the Japanese version, that one’s more flavorful but idk if I’m just bias because mine was just okay. ACC fries said it’s tossed in garlic butter but it was chunks fresh garlic on top, which threw us off. $17-$20 is a bit overpriced for a meh cheesesteak. Good to try once but have low expectations. Wish I took a photo but was too hungry.

Great place to pit stop if you’re at metrotown. Price is a bit on the higher side, but worth the purchase as it’ll keep you full for quite a while.

Food: Their Original Philly is gooood. Simple and done well. The New Yorker was pretty good but prefer the Original Philly.
The add-on-site are typical menu items.

Service: Not much interaction so not much to comment on service. You have to ask for ketchup. No straws provided. No private washroom available.

Atmosphere: Nice that they have their own seating area. Calm environment to take a break.

Thier sandwiches are great, have one everytime I'm at metrotown.

I come to Metrotown somewhat often and I can say for sure that the cheesesteaks here are absolutely delicious!
Just pick a cheesesteak+sides+drink and you will be satisfied!

I used to go to this place all the time and order the same thing, the quality at that time was incredible. As time went on the quality started to get worse. I just went here recently and I can say it's been a fall from grace. Im shocked as it has became so much worse than before. Im hoping something changes because this is still a very good place to eat at

Very little meat for the money, taste was fine but I don't think it's really a cheesesteak in the traditional sense. I also waited like 15 minutes and it was cold

Recently the poutine which I always order from here is not up to the standard. The quantity is less and the fries aren’t crispy like before. I do not remember her name but whenever my order is made by one Asian girl the order is perfect . However, unfortunately whenever the male worker makes it I always get disappointed.

I ordered the lobster shrimp one, the taste was great, the bun was crispy, and there were some veggies wrapped in the bread underneath the cheese. If not the price I’d visit more often.

Bought a classic cheesesteak from Uber Eats, it’s arrived pretty quick. Fries were still hot, notice the cheesesteak felt pretty light, not much meat. No seasoning what so ever bland and dry. Not much for cheese, I add more cheese at home and it still was just ok. I make cheesesteaks at home 10 times better and juicer. Will not be ordering again.
