Six of us went there after a day of walking and climbing stairs, sightseeing. There was a wait to get in. The food was perfect and the portions were so large, we wished we had agreed on one pasta dish and split it and we still would have had some to take home. That is the only "negative" thing we could say. Our waiter was amazing. He was friendly, attentive and answered any questions. The food was superb. Highly recommend!! A must do in Burnaby (Vancouver).

Me and my family came in Saturday night to enjoy their famous pasta. We waited about an hour and a half, which is reasonable at rush hour on a Saturday night. We get seated and had the older lady (possibly the manager) as our server. She immediately asked us what we want to drink and eat and we hadn’t even looked at the menu yet but we ordered coke’s all around. She comes back and brings everyone except one of us, our cokes. We waited thinking maybe she’ll bring it afterwards, but after waiting awhile, we asked for 1 more coke. Then when we were ready to order, we told her we wanted to order 2 dishes for the 4 of us, due to us knowing the portions were huge. She made a comment like “really? You’re going to order 2 dishes for 4 of you?” We were 3 adults and 1 child so obviously the child was not going to order his own plate. Then when I said we’ve done that before she said “its close to closing time so its ok, i’ll let it slide.” She also pointed out how there’s a $24 per person minimum charge usually. My husband asked which pasta’s are rosé pasta’s and she said we dont have rosé pasta’s and that we have red sauce pasta’s but we can add cream to it to make it rosé. We received our food shortly after and it was amazing like it always is! At the end we asked to separate our bills into 2 bills instead of all on one bill. She made a face when we asked for that and said it would not be possible due to restaurant policies. I said we’ve had it separated before and she rolled her eyes but said “fine.” Then when we paid for our bills, she expected a tip, and made a face when she found out she didnt receive any tip. She didnt say anything else and just walked away with attitude. We believe this isnt the first time this has happened due to previous reviews. We believe there is a racial factor here because she served the Caucasian tables with a whole different attitude. I am astounded that with all the bad reviews she has gotten over the years, nothing has changed or been done! She still continues to work there. I think its time for her to hang it up and retire, because she clearly doesn’t have a grasp of customer service at all! We will return for the food, but we will ask not to be served by her every time we are there.

The food was without question worth the wait! While our server was friendly, it seemed she was displeased that we only ordered water with our meals, and we had to flag down staff members for refills. Nevertheless, I capped off my meal with a latte that was absolutely perfect. I look forward to coming back and trying more menu items.

We recently visited with a group of friends for a gathering of 16, and unfortunately, it was a highly disappointing experience. While the food was undeniably delicious, the overall atmosphere and service left much to be desired.Firstly, the restaurant was not conducive to gatherings.Additionally, Despite informing them in advance that our party consisted of 16 individuals, after one-hour wait outside the restaurant with children, only to be told upon entry that they couldn't accommodate a table for our size. Instead, they offered two separate tables in different areas of the restaurant. While we were willing to seat children at one table and adults at another, they insisted on mixing one adult with the children, despite the latter being over 9 years old.Moreover, the waitstaff's behavior was unacceptably rude. They displayed a lack of professionalism and were dismissive towards our requests. It was evident that they were not interested in providing quality service or ensuring a pleasant dining experience for their customers.After waiting for 2 hours and engaging in disrespectful arguments, they demanded that we leave the restaurant.Amirali was the only one who was patient and polite.Overall, it is not recommended at all!

If you are coming here, make sure to come an hour ish before lunch or dinner because the line will be long, we were seated very quickly. I was told before hand that the potions were huge (i took that as a challenge) but I underestimated the word “huge” when it was described to me. I was barely able to put a dent in it. Service was good, about a 30 minute wait which is good, waitress was kind. The food was definitely fresh and not frozen, homemade noodles. It was definitely one of the better pastas I’ve had in a long time. The complementary bread was good. If you’re just there with one other person, sharing one order is more than enough. (Unless you’re a sumo wrestler) You will leave with more takeout containers than people.

Still a line up after nearly 30 years that I've been going here. If I'm comparing it to how it was 25 years ago I would say it's not as good as it was but still at the top of my restaurant list. They have many pasta dishes that give huge portions so even the largest appetite has a take home carton, as it has been for years.
