I came here for dinner on a Sunday around 10pm and it was not busy at all!! We were on the hunt for Korean BBQ for a late night eat and initially went to KooK but it was too busy and couldn't take us in.
We ordered the $97.95 beef combo. It came with all the sides and several kinds of beef and veggies. The kimchi for me had an unusual taste and I was not that crazy about it. However everything else was good. The sauces to go with the meat was tasty! My favorite is the wasabi tasting sauce. I loved that extra kick to the nostrils! Overall food was good enough.
Since nobody was really there, service was great. The employee cooked for us and changed our plates when it started to burn and she attentive when she heard me drop my chopsticks and brought new ones right away.
I would go here again for last minute decisions or when other restaurants get too busy.

Extreme cheap on meat portions
I order 2 lunch specials $17.95
Those pork meat in soup only 3 4 chunks and come with small dish chicken buigogi I will say 5 oz of meat
Even I order one more chicken chicken buigogi with chicken regular prices on top the bowl only 5 small pieces chicken like “penny” size and I will say 3 oz under.

Nice ambience. If you want to enjoy hot pot and Korean style grill, this is the place. The price is average and the food is great!

Good Korean BBQ joint with a fairly expansive menu. Side dishes are solid, with kimchi, potatoes and broccoli featuring along with a mayo cabbage thing. I enjoyed the spicy rice cakes (tookbokki) and the bulgoggi hotpot. Haven't tried the actual BBQ portion itself yet, but it looks promising. Will return to try once again.

The food is good but booking a reservation to bring a group of people is a no-go at Arisu. We were supposed to have a reserved spot there on Oct 12th, and once we were there it turned out that they didn't have a reservation on their system, and the guy there, instead of having more initiative and judgement to sort it out,he didn't even think of checking the name at which the reservation was under to see what's going on, he tried to bounce us to the another branch ( the easy way), so I said to him that we were not going anywhere else, and therefore he has to figure something out. He just gave us a normal table. To top it all, they called us today to confirm reservation, which means they didn't even pay attention to us, we never said we wanted the reservation for October 20th, we said we wanted it for october 12th.

Gamjatang is just soybean paste soup. The soybean paste taste is too strong. I was a bit disappointed. I came here after eating at a place near Metrotown and was disappointed. Please exert yourself more.

Restaurantji Recommends
The quality of the food is low compared to the price. There are many better restaurants.
The staff is friendly, but I think it should be written that if you don't have shabu-shabu, you won't do it. It seems like they are trying to lure you into eating something else, like a bait product.
I didn't answer the phone and went and ate something else and left. I wasn't in a good mood.

The Bibimbap is different with other Restaurants..They use Ground Beef for the meat and only 1 small scoop and put in the middle under the fried egg and has No taste . I was hoping like the other restaurant..the Meat/Bulgogi makes the dish flavourful . But this one the Mushroom is the vocal of the dish. The flavour is mehh. Plain . Unless you use a lot of Go Chu Jang Sauce. My friend order the Combo ..soup and stirfry . She gets A lot of Bulgogi real meat . That's so weird and unfair. My Bibimbap is I think $16.99 plus plus. My friend's combo is $18.99 plus plus. ( I forgot the exact price because I didn't take the receipt) . I'm not Korean but I can make Bibimbap tastier than this ( my Korean friend taught me ). Sorry .. I'm complaining because I'm very disappointed.
