Lovely korean BBQ place in the area, my friend and I were interested at the AYCE pork BBQ as it also includes other items in the menu so not only restricted to pork items. Fine place to have a meal with friends and drink over some dishes that's not costing an arm or a leg with great service and easy ordering electric menu so there isn't a need to flag down a staff any things you may need.

I went with a group of friends around 9:30 ,on the website says that they close at 11 and the last call was at 10:30 and the same thing on the front door but as soon we walked in they said that was closed

I wanted to try the food in this place so bad!!
I got all my colegues to leave early from work to go to this restaurant.
It was about 9:30pm when we arrived and they said they were closed but on the website and front door it says is until 00:00 and kitchen closes at 10:30.
I dont like when businesses say one thing and do other, so for that reason, i give a 1star review.

All you can eat pork menu still available for 30 dollars. Be prepared to consume a good amount of grease.
I ordered Stir fried spicy pork with tofu to go. Basically I paid $20+ for about 10 pieces pork belly and lots of Kimchi and kind of half box of Tofu. Thought it's too expensive. Taste is so so.
Update 2025:
We came after heard the owner changed. This is the 3rd time we visit the restaurant in 2025. Food is delicious. Size is bigger than before. The staff is friendly.
Today I tried their lunch special. Ordered soft doufu soup. Can’t finish all dishes.

Our family has dined at ARISU Korean BBQ in Edmonds on several occasions in the past, but this was our first visit since the change in management. We were a party of four (two adults, one teenager, and one younger child) and intended to order five dishes from the lunch special menu, which we reasonably believed would be sufficient.
During the ordering process, the male server confronted us, insisting that we were required to order additional dishes simply because we were four people. When we asked where this policy was stated, he was unable to provide an explanation or reference.
This interaction was both disappointing and unprofessional. The lack of clarity around the restaurant’s policies, combined with the confrontational manner of the staff, created an uncomfortable dining experience. We chose to leave immediately without ordering anything further. Given that there are many excellent Korean restaurants in Metro Vancouver, we decided to take our business elsewhere. In our view, the establishment is not family‑friendly, and we do not intend to return.

Offering AYCE now. Quite good value. Soup and sides are excellent. Clean, tidy, good service for few servers... private rooms can get a bit warm.

It was ok
Celebrated a birthday dinner at the private dining area! Service was amazing. Their all you can eat is awesome.
It's been a while since I was last at Arisu. This location in the Edmonds area has both AYCE and regular menu items. On our visit, we tried their $17.95 lunch specials (you pick your side to accompany your main dish).
We got the Chicken Bulgogi and Beef Bulgogi (they don't have many options for the lunch specials). As expected for the price, the size of the mains isn't huge.
For the sides, we got the Cold Buckwheat Noodles in Cold Beef Broth (it was rather sweet but they give you mustard and vinegar to modify the flavour). Also got the Seafood Sundubu Jjigae which had the best flavor of the dishes we tried. We really needed the scissors to cut through the long buckwheat noodles.
Lunch combo special is good, not expensive but taste good, comfortable sitting area
