The shop sells dairy products directly from their factory. The price is a bit cheaper than the local supermarkets. I also can refund for milk bottle recycle.
very nice ice cream! Try it!
My bottle return was refused in Whole Foods because they said you guys won't take the bottles if there's some stain left. If that's true, you guys never wash the bottles again in your factory? I wonder why you guys want the customers to wash it thoroughly. It's already very annoying to bring back the empty bottles all the time. Now customers have to spend more time and effort to wash the bottles even. I don't think this makes sense at all. What are you guys doing with the empty bottles then? Just putting milk right away? The stain was nothing but milk. As you know, if it takes longer to finish a bottle, it leaves some lines of milk in the bottle. I can't remove it by just rinsing it. Or maybe the stain could have been already there in the bottle. Because we were not away, we just consumed the milk as same speed as other times. But only this bottle had the problem. How do you guys want me to wash it if I had no dishwasher at home?
great ice-cream and better prices of dairy products compared to stores
Hi Avalon Dairy,
I love the concept of packing milk in glass bottle, It's my first time seeing such stuff. Today I buyed one bottle from Real Canadian Superstore. I would also love to have a factory tour, I know that would be amazing. But can't do without your permission. I would look forward for your positive response.
And once again I love the concept, of glass bottle. ✌️
Thank You.

A little restaurant and the best dairy products. Will have to bring friends here for coffeee and dessert. Tucked away in South Burnaby and is a well kept secret for those who don’t know. If you like fresh, organic or regular dairy, this is the place to come. Avalon is mhigh quality and reasonably priced. It is clean and nicely decorated. Service is good.
Avalon dairy products are the best j have ever had I love there whole milk with the cream on top
If you're looking for terrible customer service, this is the place for you. While the ice cream was passable, the real standout was the guy at the counter, who I think might be the manager or owner. When I asked for a receipt (you know, something normal), he acted like I just asked him to solve a quantum physics problem. He questioned me, got visibly annoyed and threw a fit like a child who didn't get his way. Clearly, handing out receipts is just too much to ask for. Maybe he was having a bad day, but that’s no excuse for treating customers like a burden. If rude, condescending service is what they’re aiming for, they definitely nailed it. Won't be coming back for more of this "five star" treatment ?
Their chicken parm sandwich and New England clam chowder are fantastic
Going there from 2 years. Brad is amazing person
Dairy item quality is superb
Restaurantji Recommends
Cold food, terrible service, unfriendly staff, mediocre menu. It’s the same price as going up the street to a chain restaurant with half the quality. Absolutely do not recommend….
I've heard about this place a few times but never had the chance to visit until today. It's a small in-house service that sells Avalon products, including milk, cream, ice cream, and yogurt. The prices are lower than retail, and you even get a small refund for returning glass bottles. My family loves their creamy milk and smooth blueberry yogurt.
It would be great if they could expand to a larger space, perhaps with a farm-style setup serving waffles, fresh milk, and ice cream for families to enjoy during the summer.
Nice outlet store for Avalon, located in South Burnaby. Have always loved their milk. The shop is very cozy and cute and they have a wonderful selection of their products. My favourite has always been the chocolate milk and it is less expensive than say superstore or Safeway when you buy it here. Good products, excellent service and nice selection.
They offers ice cream and some baked goods, but I was a bit disappointed with the ice cream selection. They only had few flavors, and the ice cream itself was way too soft, almost like it was melting. It’s definitely better to get it in a cup rather than a cone. If you're going to buy ice cream, I’d suggest getting a pint to take home instead of eating it there.
As for their milk, the price is similar to what you’d find at a local supermarket. The only perk is if you buy 3 or more bottles, they knock off 30 cents per bottle, which is a nice little discount.
Milkshakes are great. Food is great as well.
