I was looking for a good Balkan Place in Vancouver and this one hit the spot. Plenty of space, the inside reminds me of old restaurants in Europe. Lots of meat (platter for 1 is probably enough for two). Quick service. I will be back!
This place is quite the hidden gem! A but discerning on the outside, classic & comforting wood grain on the inside! For all the numerous Sushi, Korean, Pho, Greek, Mexican, Chinese, etc. restaurants around, simple Balkan cuisine was a plesant change of pace.

Balkan House has great food, generous portions and competitive prices. We have been regulars there for years and never got disappointed! I always confidently recommend it to all of my family and friends!
