The food and overall atmosphere were good, but unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by the poor service from the front-of-house associate. When we arrived at 9 PM on February 24th, we were immediately told that last call was at 9:30 PM—without a greeting, a smile, or any effort to seat us properly.
Her attitude throughout the evening was dismissive and unwelcoming. She rolled her eyes, did not engage with us, and barely spent two minutes at our table whenever we had a question. It was clear that her behavior towards us was different from how she treated other guests, which made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.
We understand that this is not a fine dining establishment, but basic hospitality should still be expected. A guest should feel welcomed, regardless of the setting. All of us have worked in hospitality for years, and we unanimously agreed that her attitude negatively impacted our dining experience.
We are usually 20% tippers, and our bill exceeded $50, but due to the poor service, we only left 5%. We hope that this feedback is taken constructively, and that the staff member in question receives proper training on guest interactions.

If there was any possibility to give any more lower rating for the service. I would definitely do so. The service was a -10. When we entered the server was so uninterested in welcoming us, rather had a dead face and no smiles. I work in food service and it doesn’t cost a dime for a damn smile. As soon as we entered the first thing she said was we’re closing soon. Like literally an hour to go and she had no interest in doing her goddamn job. Half an hour later a gentleman walked in to dine. She had no problem helping him out. Maybe she had issues with the way we looked 🙂. Besides that trashy attitude the food was good. The kitchen staff greeted us goodnight and asked us to visit again. But for the service that we received I know I’m not going back there to dine in ever.

I've been going to this place for take out for a long time and normally the food is great. However, lately, I noticed that the quality and amount are worsening. Today was incredibly disappointing as 4 pieces of my fried chicken were literally only the bone covered in batter, no meat. Only 2 pieces had enough meat but it felt like a rip off. How are you charging full price and selling only deep fried bones? I am very disappointed, but I live too far to return and complain.

I’m at restaurant right now and writing this review, because of the worst experience!! I’m a regular customer but today unfortunately the front worker had an attitude and she was in bad mood and we didn’t get a water on the table! However, the other customers in different table was served water !!! Zero smile!! Okay I understand she might having a bad day and everyone can have it! BUT she smiles and talk kind to Korean customers!! Idk what u call that!! So disappointed 😁! YOU CAN DO BETTER BBQ CHICKEN!

I ordered the golden chicken (not spicy) from BBQ Chicken on Hastings, but it was very spicy and the quality was disappointing. It tasted like old food, which was surprising because other branches usually offer much better quality. This location needs to improve.

They got the order wrong. And the waitress acted like she was deaf and scammed us by getting our order wrong on purpose. When we paid I told her my friend was paying for it all, then she separated the bill to fool us. Unbelievable scam.
