Bengong’s Tea 本宫的茶 (SFU)

Christina made me 50% boba milk tea with Oolong tea and it was really good! Also she was so incredibly nice and timely in making the drink all alone for the store front! The boba are chewy and sweet~

This boba place is honestly so mid. I really did give it a chance , I really wanted to like it even as I NEED EASY ACCESS BOBA. But even with the chances , the milk tea drinks did not hit hoollyyy, it was sooooo diluted and the toppings might as well not have been there. Like I needed to get another cup of bubble tea somewhere good to clear my mouth from that tea cube milk tea. When I had their fruit teas , I was like you can't mess this up, but they did, it was diluted af and the flavor wasn't there.

TLDR:Guys just don't come here , just ride the 143 to burquitlam and get coco , at least you will be satisfied even if it too more time.

We ordered drinks and it took us ten minutes to get to the shop which is inside a building. After we got here the store was closed but they accepted our order. Super confused.

Pearls were hard and not much flavour. Got the strawberry slush, it was good but not worth going back for.

7 minutes watching how they let the water be thrown away, when in other places there are people who don't have it.

A tad expensive but the flavour of the milk tea is very smooth and creamy. The black sugar pearl milk tea is really good! The ice does melt fast though so drink fast!

The tea is good. The pearls seem to be not cooked enough. Hope next time is better.

Too expensive and the drink didn’t look like the picture at all. Overall it wasn’t tasty (wasn’t able to finish my drink). Not worth $10. People are nice tho.

The taste of the drinks CHANGES a lot due to the person who made it. I am a student at SFU so I often come here to grab a drink and unfortunately, it always tastes different.As a customer, I want to get a high-quality drink and not be surprised it tastes not the same as it was one day ago. Sometimes they have a very rich/strong taste of tea and fresh/chewy pearls, but on another day it can be absolutely garbage with just watery taste and super soft pearls. I would recommend the staff to follow the original recipes provided by an employer or the manager.

I’ve ordered from here multiple times and I never liked a drink once ?. Everything is way too overpriced and the teas aren’t even freshly brewed. The workers are friendly though!
