The service and ladies that took care of me were amazing. Ordered the fish and chips, the fish was soggy from the oil and the fries were cold. Not the best meal I have ever had by far, guess i should have done more research before selecting a place, especially on my first trip to Vancouver.

Had the best time at Birdies in Burnaby! The food was absolutely delicious, the tacos were to die for. The ambiance and vibe were perfect, making it such a fun spot to hang out and enjoy a meal. Huge shoutout to our server, Angel, who went above and beyond, seriously 11/10 service. Can’t wait to come back!

I went with my family for my birthday dinner, it was the most horrible experience in terms of service and food. The attitude of the hostess was negative as we went in, then the server as well. Most slow service- even after waiting for a hour for food to come, food came out cold. Fries were not fresh, the burger had some disgusting sauce, Thai curry tasted awful, The pasta was dry and the bread was cold. The only nice thing was that the manager was nice and she apologized for the bad food, however the service was awful too!! The server didn’t even check if we needed anything. It was overall the worst experience. I can’t believe earls own this. Earls is consistently great and this was horrible!! Don’t even try!!

The restaurant is spacious and well decorated. My brother-in-law and sister got the breakfast dish (the only one served during non brunch hours so make sure you check what brunch hours are if that’s what you’re looking for) which looked really good. The hashbrowns were so delicious! I ended up getting their smash burger and unfortunately it was not something I enjoyed. It was very greasy, dripping down my hands and feeling like there was grease all over my mouth after biting into the burger. The brioche bun ended up getting so soggy and I couldn’t finish the burger. The cheese also tasted like Kraft singles (although I could be wrong, that’s just what it tasted like).
