A nice little Vietnamese sub place tucked away in a small parking lot in Central Burnaby. Ordered a few special banh mi sandwiches and tried the sausage rolls here.

The banh mi is very filling. Nice amount of pate and butter and nice bun as well. A bit salty with the soya sauce but overall really tasty. The sausage roll was nice too, very large, but more of a pork based sausage roll. I liked both and glad I gave this place a try.

Parking: Free small parking lot and lots of street parking too

The sandwich is in a decent size, much more fulfilling than having a Burger at MacDonald’s.

Taste excellent, one of the best in metrotown area!

i don’t have the stomach for other bakery items but they look very nice. I will come back for the huge homemade sausage roll.

The baguette used for the sandwich is not as crispy as Saigon Bites though.

No tips requested at the card machine.

I custom ordered two cakes. They made them wonderfully. And I got lots of other cookies from them like coconut, oatmeal etc... They also make amazing sandwiches with fresh bread and everything. OMG tastes amazing ??????

The service is rude here. When you walk in the staff ignores you and you must try and get their attention to buy something. Weird. I assume they're trying to make money. Their bread is good.

This place is quite the hidden gem. Tucked away in a super small plaza and only a few staff at a time (and they are super super friendly!).

Their banh mi's are pretty tasty. They bake their breads each morning so you have that awesome crunch while perfectly soft inside.

Good prices, great banh mi! I'm hooked after the first visit

Picked up two Banhmi, one cold cut and one vegetarian. Cold cut was loaded with delicious pate and meat. It was juicy and not dry at all. The bread was buttery and soft. The style is somewhat similar to Banh mi Huynh Hoa in Vietnam because it’s so loaded with pate. The vegetarian Banhmi was filled with tofu skin. It’s probably one of the better Banhmi places in Vancouver. Since I love Vietnamese food, it will likely be my regular joint.

[Additional note] I went there several times under the new ownership, but the taste had deteriorated and the cakes were very sweet and tough, so I stopped going there. Then I noticed that the store's name had changed and that the reviews had been carried over. I don't feel good when my reviews are used for laundering. Goodbye, BJ.-------(Original post)----The rye bread is delicious, and the sandwiches and sausage rolls are also very delicious. Also, the cake is not too sweet, similar to Japanese cakes, and the cream is light and delicious. This store is a must-have in our home.
