Ordered a filtered coffee an hour prior to their closing time. After taking a sip, I realized that coffee was not warm. I went back to the shop and lady told me they are about to close that's why the coffee might be a bit cold and she offered me to microwave it for me. That's the most ridiculous thing I heard in a coffee shop. She ended up making up an americano for me. I guess she was a bit keen to turn off everthing to get out of there soon.
Edit: I’ve realized at other locations that they shake/stir it really well & its only matcha on the top half, and you can stir with the milk on the bottom (no clumps!)- //Summer 2023:I think the cold Matcha latte needs more care/attention... because it can sometimes be really clumpy in the final product. But, the reason I write this review is because I am a little ticked that this location often has (some) staff that seem annoyed or indifferent if you have any request/discontent...
My favourite cafe on SFU burnaby campus. You get to collect points for every purchase you make. The employees are also really friendly and meticulous when making your drink. TEN FOLDS better than the starbucks located near the east parking lot.
