The BBQ pork is always up to standard. It's delicious and al dente. However the lady who served me today was so impolite. I requested less rice for myself and regular for my companion. I asked if I could get a bit more veggie while I requested for less rice. She immediately replied with her long face that you need to pay more for veggie! Ok fine I didn't want more veggie then. Then when I paid for my food, I asked her which one was less rice. She was so blunt responding that she forgot! WAHT?!?! Did she think that I was begging her food? Or was I given food for free? Without the customers, how can your shop sustain for rent and wages and other expenses! That lady needs to be trained her attitude is in this job. If she doesn't understand customers are the key to sustain business, please don't work here. Please go start up your own business that you can shout to the customers.

I ordered Sesame Chicken, the chicken had that expired strange taste to it, it looked old and tasted like it. Now my stomach hurts. My wife almost puked. When the woman was serving it to me she was serving me the small pieces that were also torn apart and she was not giving me the whole pieces. I had to tell her my self to please serve me the normal whole pieces.

Ordered platter number 2 which includes 2 sides , i got sesame chicken as one of the options and it was all just fried bread crumbs or the batter, no chicken at all, you can also see it in the picture below…

The portions are super tiny, they cut up a piece of regular portion roasted pork into 3 tiny pieces then overlapping each other and hide behind a full piece one. This way when you first look at the food, you won’t notice you have been tricked.

Rude people working here. I asked for a different piece of roast pork and the man working there said they were all the same! That's untrue, they wanted to give me the one with more bones and fat. They always cut more than what you ask for so always ask for less.
They weigh the meat first and chop after. I watched the man throw away a lot of my meat. Why make me pay for garbage if you're going to throw it away. Becareful they don't give you everything.

Not for me. Old food: chicken fried in old oil, spring rolls cold and not crispy, rice either made yesterday or today with anger as spice. Attendant was trying her best, but she was so upset, so demotivated that it showed.

I tried this place twice, really hoping it'd be decent but both times I've been severely disappointed. First time, I ordered the half Cha Siu and half Siu Yook (crispy pork). I've never had such thinly sliced crispy pork before - there was barely any crispy skin. Second time I ordered half Cha Siu and soy chicken and I practically got all bone for the chicken. Their portions are ridiculously small to the point of it just being a total robbery, especially for $16 a dish. Go to 1st Avenue instead for this type of food. I promise you'd get the thickest and juiciest cut crispy pork. Bona Fide is just huge disappointment.
Got the soy chicken and duck on rice …Basically felt like I bought bones and rice for 18. I could have gotten more food at the grocery store and better. I don’t know if it’s because they seen a white man or they just rip people off for a 2 dollar portion of rice and maybe 5 dollars of meat but it was mostly shrapnel of bone

hi do you know i show my picture images i want to get chicken they did not understand english and they gave me wrong products i did not know i think chicken i found they gave to duck i did not want order in first place i try get chicken in first but they gave me duck half. i got this duck i ate was so good meal but be take care next time i point chicken not listen and them gave me other products that why . i never received chicken in first place .let you know soon thank you ,Natalie M

Had the 3 types of meat. Duck had hardly any meat on the bone. Siu yok wasn't crispy and was too salty. Charsiu was barely better than one from t&t. Overall disappointing. 3/10

Really unimpressed. Food was stale, seemed like it had been sitting out all day. The lady behind the counter snapped at me and was not friendly. I will not return, I do not recommend.

This has the worst quality food in the whole food court and much worse is their customer service regarding their customer. A shop like this shouldn't even be in business. Totally racist especially the Asian lady with a hat and mask. If you wanna eat trashy overpriced food with worst customer service at any food place in Vancouver then sure be my guest would recommend just trust the reviews and avoid this shop at all cost. Just the complete worst!!!!!!
