Love the burger there and the golf courses view from the restaurant is wonderful. Great atmosphere in a sunny day.

A beautiful location on a sunny Saturday afternoon on the patio. Excellent service and a great menu. However I was extremely disappointed in my summer corn salad which was smaller than an appetizer! I finished it in 3 bites! My friends’ Caesar and Tuscan salads were meal sized portions.

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time this past Thursday. It will be our last. On the most beautiful day with views to die for we arrived to the mountain as did many others. Upon walking in to a nearly empty restaurant I was already nervous as empty is usually an indication of a bad experience (especially with so many on the property). A Christmas fireplace on the screen and 5 tables of guests was surprising for such an amazing location.
The restaurant missed the mark in all areas. The ambiance was not that of a warm spring evening. Though the server was pleasant enough she was not extremely knowledgeable. The set menu was priced well but the entire meal was subpar…. Under seasoned soup, roasted beats that were not roasted, plain lobster (not even buttered), poor quality steak, cheese and salt (so much salt) gnocchi….. the most flavourful item was the tomato (though an odd vegetable choice)… my husband did enjoy the dessert and took mine home for later.
There is so much potential in this location and space but this place has missed the mark entirely and I’ll be shocked if it lasts. This place is poor banquet dining than anything else.

This is a little gem of a spot for dining. The quality, presentation and service was reminiscent of a fine dining establishment.

Every year we were not able to reserve a table during Dine out Vancouver weeks, so we decided to try it outside. The booking was much easier and could be done online.
We tried the four-course Taste of Burnaby set menu, for a $55/pax there's soup, salad main course of Beef+lobster tail or Steelhead+lobster tail, dessert. We also ordered steamed mussels as additional appetizer.
Service: very friendly staffs with tiny glitches such as forgetting to give us a bowl for the shells, but it is acceptable because they were very busy;
Ambience: what a view overlooking the golf course! And the interior decorator was modern, clean, and cozy. Love it!!!
Food: what we loved: very tasty soup with properly tossed nuts on top; good salad, crispy, fresh and packed with varieties of textures and tastes; the really great value of four courses with the main including lobster tail. What we feel that might need a bit more improvement: lobster tails were a bit overcooked and all stuck in their shells - it'd be better to lightly blanch them to take out the flesh before further cooking to add some flavours; the red broth of mussels was too salty; the chocolate square should have been taken out from the fridge earlier - it was still frozen with ice in it, impossible to cut into smaller pieces to eat.
Lastly, when I made the reservation, I indicated my food allergy. Apparently the kitchen didn't get this message, so it is important to tell the server once again upon arrival.
But in general, I'll still recommend this restaurant! I'm a picky eater.

Came for a late lunch after our kid’s golf lessons. Prices were reasonable and good selection of sandwiches, burgers, entrees and small plates. Kids menu available for $10 with several entree options. Only let down was the menu offered all day breakfast but it wasn’t available in the afternoon when we went.

We went for Bite of Burnaby, and glad we did. Katie was a great server, professional and patient, with a quick wit. The steak and lobster were cooked perfectly! The butternut squash soup and beet salad were excellent. And OMG the chocolate mango dessert was fantastic!!

Oh boy, the food was really terrible. However the service was amazing so I'll give them two stars and spare the details of the food.

I came here for the Valentine's Day special.

The butternut squash soup was not bad, but the spinach and cheese cannoli in the middle was very delicious.

The salad was fresh and had a nice vinaigrette with it.

The lemon sorbet was small, sweet, and simple. I enjoyed this!

I got the Steak and lobster, asked for rare, but some parts were blue rare. It wasn't a big deal for me, so I still ate it. I wish the lobster was a bit bigger instead of the legs.

My boyfriend had the steelhead with lobster. I really wish I chose that. The steelhead was very delicious, cooked perfectly.

Onto the desserts, the coffee creme brulee was a perfect ending to the dinner. It hit the spot. Had a nice smooth coffee cream like taste.

The other dessert which I can't remember the name, it was amazing. Like it was crunchy, sweet, and savory. I could eat 3 of these!

The service was a bit slow, it was hard to grab the server's attention as they didn't look around when walking out. We waited about 20 minutes to try to ask to have our desserts. But the dessert makes up for it because it was good.

It was nice to try out the restaurant, I do hope they have different specials from time to time.

Great food, great service! Only complaint was the lighting was a little bright. Should have been a little dimmer.

We really wanted to love this place, but it just didn’t hit the mark. Let’s start with the good. Our server was sweet and checked in on us without being overbearing. And that dessert was probably the best part of the night.

Now, the not-so-good. The steak came drowning in this weirdly tangy sauce. And the steelhead was a bit dry. Biggest letdown, though, was the other server who cleared our plates. She acted like we were invisible—no “How was everything?”, no smile, just grabbed the dishes and dipped.

For what we paid, I expected better vibes and flavors. Maybe an off night, but not sure I would gamble $100 again. Dessert’s the only reason this isn’t one star.
