Their plates and glasses had lots of residue on them. Like more than half of them.
You need better training or equipment for your dishwashing part..
I would like to review Busan Daeji Gukbap Korean restaurant. I ordered their signature pork soup. I was greeted by staffs and seated right away.
Food: it came in less than 10 minutes with the side dishes. Broth was light and needed extra seasoning with the sauces provided (you can add to your taste). Portion was very big with plenty of meat and a healthy serving of sesame powder. It was very satisfying and hearty. 8.5 out of 10. I personally think South Castle Korean restaurant on Austin is better.
Service: servers came twice to see how the food tasted and refilled kimchi once. 8/10. I felt well taken care of.
Overall: restaurant was a bit dirty and smells old. It isn't the nicest environment and I wouldn't bring guests here. However, the food is hearty and filling with large portions, so visit if you are after a comforting meal.
First time trying their daeji gukbap and I was not disappointed at all!! The meat was so soft that it melts in your mouth, broth was flavourful (I suggest spicy broth). You get noodles and rice to put in the soup.
Side dishes were generous and my favourite thing was the salty shrimp you can add on the broth.
The place feels very authentic and nostalgic. Highly recommended!
What the helly!!!!! This place specializes in daeji gukbap but we decided to order everything but that, and it was the best choice of our lives
Donkatsu was delicious and the sauce tasted just like Korea. Fried chicken was crispy and soft inside, and came with some pieces of fried rice cakes. Overall food was good; service could use some improvement
As a Korean knowing how much these types of dish usually costs, the food here is very overpriced. It tasted okay but I wouldn't come back. And the servers aren't very friendly. They just nod without even looking at you when you request them stuff and their attitudes are quite cold and rude. I will never come back. Not worth the price they charge
Update: I take back saying that the food tasted okay.. We had dinner at this place last night and my husband has been suffering with sick stomach since he woke up this morning
The spicy seafood ramen is my comfort food, good portion for 2 people and it’s 18
W chicken great service. Straight mucked the tteokbokki. Also great water
The portion size and taste of the food were acceptable, but the service was terrible. Some of the staff were very indifferent and unfriendly. I can only give it two stars.
Huge portions. Their fried chicken is actually pretty good.
Delicious food with large qty.
Must try their Pork stew Soup, if you’re a pork lover, especially for pork intestines, pork stomach and Soondae(blood sausage). 2 adults could just finished one soup bowl, served with rice and noodles.
They also refill the free appetizer for free.

Good tasty!
Good food. Affordable Price
went here at 1 am, the restaurant was busy and had amazing service late at night.
Busan Daeji Gukbap Korean Restaurant, and it was an overall decent experience. The portions were incredibly generous, and I definitely left feeling full, which is always a good sign. The taste of the dishes was okay—flavorful, but the seasoning could have been a bit bolder to really elevate the dishes.
The service was okay. The staff were polite, but not as attentive as I had hoped. While they did their job, there wasn’t much of a personal touch or extra effort to make the dining experience stand out.
The restaurant itself could use some renovations. The interior felt outdated, and it could really benefit from a refresh to make the atmosphere more inviting. Additionally, the cleanliness of the restaurant wasn’t quite up to par, which detracted from the overall experience.
While the food was filling and the service was acceptable, the ambiance and cleanliness could use some improvement. Still, it’s a decent spot for a casual meal if you’re looking for large portions at a reasonable price.
Does this reflect your experience more accurately? Let me know if you need further changes!
Best Korean soup place in town, with other amazing entrees too. Big filling portions and very very friendly service and staff. This is one of my favorite places to frequent.
