All was good although the brisket was a bit on the dry side. Seems it's stored for awhile before serving? Then loses the moistness. Will definitely return, this is a comment and not a deterrent.

It's no secret that making the perfect BBQ meat is very hard. Unfortunately, this place did not satisfy all the hungry diners in our group. We went for a party so ordered the carnivore platter. There was a generous amount of food but the ribs were bland and the pulled pork was super dry. The best tasting items were the fries and corn bread. However, there were plenty of great drinks and the service was top notch. Our server offered to bring us different meats for the unpalatable ones but they were no better. This restaurant has plenty of positive reviews so perhaps the chef was having an off night

The food/meat was very salty. The portion sizes were on the smaller side for the price. The sides were very tasty especially the potato salad & the corn bread. Not alot of options if you don't eat meat. Offered one salad which was $17, a bit pricey in my opinion.

I like the food. The small place is cozy, the service is good, and the price is fair. I've never had a bad meal here.

So goooood. Everyone's gotta visit once. Food is delicious. Place is clean and cozy. Service is great. Lots of options. Beer on tap.

Pictures is the brisket bowl. Which gives a nice variety of all the fixings and your choice of meat. In this case. Brisket.

Lots of parking behind on side streets and parking lot.

Worst takeout experience I’ve ever had.
Ordered brisket meal for takeout. Ate within 5 minutes of receiving the food.

Meat was dry and hard like it was sitting for too long with too much heat.

Normally I would’ve sent it back for a replacement,, but alas, this was my first meal of the day, I was extremely hungry, and steeled myself to absorb the taste of disappointment. I’m sure normally it would be good, but this experience was tragic.

We came here because my friend is on a keto diet. The brisket and ribs are super YUMMY! So we came back for the all you can eat and holy cow was it not even better than before. We actually rolled out the door because we could no longer walk. Shout out to the amazing server too. Thank you.

Dropped by The Butcher’s Block and had a pretty solid BBQ experience overall. The meal kicked off strong — the pulled pork was juicy and flavorful, and the belly bites were a definite standout: rich, and full of smoky goodness and a different taste from the ribs in smokiness. Their cornbread also deserves a shoutout — moist, with just the right hint of sweetness.

On the flip side, the ribs didn’t quite hit that “wow” factor. While they were good just not tender and very little meat to eat, they leaned more toward pull off the bone than the ideal fall off the bone texture. Not bad, just not memorable. The baked beans were on the plain side — basic and a bit forgettable.

One thing that definitely is worth going for? The iced tea or lemonade. Both are bottomless, generously sized, and offer great value — especially if you’re thirsty or just want to kick back for a bit in the summer heat.

Overall, a satisfying BBQ spot with some great highlights and a few areas that could use a bit more flair. Worth checking out if you're in the area.
