We celebrated my daughter’s 12th birthday at Cactus Club in North Burnaby, and it was such a wonderful experience! We had originally booked a table on the patio, but when we arrived it was a bit chilly the staff were so polite and quickly helped us move inside without any hassle. The food was fantastic, and the Bellini drink was excellent. The team even surprised my daughter with a complimentary birthday cake, a sweet birthday message written on the plate, and a card which made our night extra special. The service, atmosphere, and quality of everything were top-notch. I highly recommend this location to everyone and will definitely be coming back!

Had an amazing time at Cactus with my family. We were having a late night packing, and wanting to go out for some food and chose Cactus. It was decently busy, but we only waited 5 minutes for a table, and our server was amazingly efficient and so nice. I really appreciated being asked about my allergies when I asked for substitutions, and they made sure that my food wasn't contaminated with anything I couldn't have. I go to Cactus a lot, but this time, and location, was even better than normal.

We didn’t have a reservation but they were able to accommodate our group of 8. My only recommendation though is just for the server to keep in mind that not everybody is from Canada/Western areas. I have family visiting from Japan and they are unfamiliar with our sauces and various dishes here. I would have appreciated some patience in explaining from our server.

We order from this branch consistently and they've been consistently great until today, which was especially disappointing. We've ordered two items and both were poorly prepped by the branch. The thai red curry ordered with an extra side of rice never came with the extra spice nor the usual herbs, spices and lemon. The gluten aware med bowl combo was definitely not safe, which hurt my celiac partner, as well as some browning lettuce that were definitely old.
Cross contamination is always a risk, which the restaurant is always careful to mention, but today's case was not that. It felt like major neglect or carelessness.
