Cactus Club Cafe Station Square

Absolutely terrible service at Cactus Club! This place clearly does not respect people’s time. The hostess is unbelievably rude and unprofessional. She tells couriers the order will be ready in “5 minutes,” but in reality it takes 30 minutes or even longer! When you ask her to check, she pretends to care, but then just keeps standing around, doing her own personal things instead of helping. This is the poorest, laziest service I have ever seen in Vancouver. Total disrespect to customers and couriers. Shame on this location – they should seriously rethink their staff training, because right now it’s a disaster!

my friend and i had reservations at 5:30pm and due to bad weather we ran a bit late but we weren't too worried as in the reservation confirmation email it states “Reservations will be held for 15 minutes.” we got inside the building at 5:44pm and we had one group ahead of us, as we were waiting 5:45pm hit and the group in-front finished up but a pickup order walked in front of us during our turn. i get to the stand (keep in mind its still 5:45pm) and when i told the hostess i had a reservation at 5:30pm but it also said that reservations are held for 15 minutes to which her answer was “we actually give ur spot away right when it hits 15 minutes” which makes no sense as that means they don't hold it for 15 minutes they hold your reservation for 14 minutes and 59 seconds past your appointment time? i completely understand rules and regulations are in place for a reason but this definitely wasn’t fair to us when we were literally there and within the timeframe their policy itself states.

I wanted to give a huge shout out to the manager Katherine (hopefully I spelt it right, I apologize in advanced if I didn’t) she made our birthday celebration special when we ordered a lava cake to go. Would definitely go back just for service like that!

My friend came to Vancouver and we decided to hit up Cactus. Chris made everything so easy and fun, his service was next level! We were literally talking about coming back next time she’s in town on the way to the airport. Will come back to visit again!

Really enjoyed my visit to Cactus Club Station Square. The food was tasty and the service was awesome. Big shoutout to Chris for being super friendly and attentive!

Loved it here. Went for a late night date, had a little food and some drinks. It was awesome overall great atmosphere food was great drinks were great I would absolutely go back.

Celebrated our anniversary here and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional.

*edit* Came to this location Aug 3, and the water glass had a chip and shards of glass were coming off. Quite the hazard and it wasn’t handled properly imo.

Would give it 0 stars if I could. I had a valid piece of temporary ID as my service card and license are currently being renewed and mailed to me. Explained situation to host and server they said it would be fine. The manager Rebecca was extremely rude and argued with me in a super mean tone when I was being reasonable and nice. She was speaking to me in such a condescending tone and made me feel horrible especially because she is white and I am brown. My friend ended up ordering a drink for me with her ID and I was taking a sip and this manager really watched me across the restaurant and then comes to confront me about it saying I’m not allowed to sip the drink. I asked her why she was watching me drink and she said “I didn’t ur server saw u sip it”. Not true, my server was on the other side of the restaurant. It was my birthday and I was very upset. Ended up leaving before the food came to me and had to pay for my drink that I literally only had 2 SIPS of… thanks a lot!! Great way to run a business 😂 her way of speaking literally was like those racist white trump supporters back in the states. BOYCOTT THIS CACTUS go to the Richmond one instead. Don’t give business to a place with a horrible woman as a manager. The hosts and servers were all kind however and I could tell they hate their manager too I feel bad 💔💔

My girlfriend and I recently visited Cactus Club, and I was very disappointed with the experience. The steak did not taste fresh and unfortunately left me with stomach discomfort the following day. The mushroom side was also heavily over-salted, making the dish unenjoyable. Given the restaurant’s strong reputation, I had much higher expectations for both the food quality and the overall dining experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements for future guests.

I went in at 9 pm and was told there would be a 10-minute wait. The server took my number and added me to the waitlist—I even received a text confirming it. I walked around while waiting, but after an hour with no update, I gave up and went to eat somewhere else. How could I be confirmed on the waitlist and then completely forgotten? Absolutely ridiculous and a total waste of my time.
