Cactus Club Cafe Station Square

We were visiting from out of town and stopped at Cactus Club for my partners birthday dinner. We are so happy we chose Cactus as the food and service were great!

We were lucky to have Ghayass as our server and they were amazing! Very attentive and made our birthday celebration feel special. Huge shout out to Ghayass!

For food we started with the calamari and it was amazing, I could have eaten a large entree sized portion of just this! We also got a green goddess salad that was great and the bolognese pasta which was really good.

We ordered a crème brûlée for desert and Ghayass made it special by bringing it out with a happy birthday message and a candle, thank you so much! The dessert was amazing!

Overall a great experience!

Vastly improved during the past two years due to management efforts. Food meets expectations thus 4 stars management 5 stars, ambience and service range 4-5 based on experience. 2nd last visit below expectations had to wait about 15 minutes despite having reservations and disabled button below to open the door didn't seem to work. Usually i have had above expectations during the majority of the past two years

Raw dish twice in a row. First time it was raw and had bad smell, then they remade it was still raw. Very disappointed

I've been there a few times for employee appreciation dinners and have had a wonderful experience each time, the meals are all delicious, and if the servers are able to be around they can speed up the serving of food.

WE, A GROUP OF ABOUT 15 PEOPLE WERE IN CACTUS CLUB (AT 6090 SILVER DRIVE) ON FRIDAY NIGHT OF OCTOBER FIRST 2024.
THE WAITER SERVING US, ADDED 20% TIP TO ALL OUR BILLS, WITHOUT INFORMING US AND ASKED US TO PAY.
THIS DOES NOT LOOK APPROPRIATE ACTION AND I AM WONDERING IF HE IS ALLOWED TO ADD TIPS BY HIMSELF TO CUSTOMER BILLS. SHOULDN'T THAT BE CUSTOMERS TO DECIDE ON THE AMOUNT OF TIPS?

Great option for birthday celebrations, the personal is very friendly they made my celebration special. Also, they are very efficient we don’t have reservation and our party was a little bit big, however we didn’t have to wait too much for our table. 10/10 experience

We came to celebrate a family member’s birthday and our sever Ryan took care of our table. He did an amazing job at catering to our table of 12! His service was great and I highly recommended eating at this location for its staff that genuinely takes time to care for its customers.

We had happy hour! When the food didn't arrive for a while, the staff on the other side came over to tell me why it was late, and when I asked about a drink I didn't understand, they let me try it, and the staff were attentive. . It was about $50 for two a la carte items and two drinks. I was traveling alone for work, so I was grateful to be able to sit at the counter and feel at ease. I'll come back later!

Haven't been to Cactus in a long time and was pretty disappointed. They've increased their prices significantly since I've last been, which is fair considering inflation but it didn't feel worth it compared to past dining experiences. Food was just okay, it wasn't bad by any means but $25 for a fairly average burger didn't seem reasonable. Drinks were good but also felt overpriced - $8-9 for tap beer and $15 for cocktails. Service was really mediocre, he kept interrupting our conversations but also wasn't really around when we needed. The atmosphere could also use some improvement, which is surprisingly considering it's a pretty new location. The carpet under our table was torn and kept sliding around.

The location being in Station Square means it'll be understandably busy, but the entrance was chaotic and front-of-house staff seemed overwhelmed by the crowd. Parking is available at the adjacent Station Square parking lot, or you can also park at Metrotown. Overall, experience doesn't justify the price and you're better off going to The Keg, Joey or Earls.
