Castella Cheesecake Metrotown

If you're a fan of cheese tarts and baked goods I would recommend giving Castella cheesecake a try. It's a little on the pricier side if you buy a single item, but buy in groups and you'll get a better deal. They also have a promotion when you purchase $30 at the time of writing.

Tiramisu in can was good

I recently visited the store and tried their Basque cheesecake slice, it was absolutely delicious! Compared to other cheesecake places I’ve been to, this one really stood out. You can feel the rich, creamy flavour in every bite—it was smooth, perfectly baked, and just the right level of sweetness.

The store also offers a great selection of desserts, including yogurt cakes, round cakes, and full-sized cheesecakes in a variety of flavours. Definitely a treat for any dessert lover!

My only suggestion would be to increase the portion size a bit—it felt a little small for the price.

I tried cream croissant and tiramisu here, both of them were amaziiiing, highly recommended!!!

Some of the best cheesecake around, ask for the cheese tarts; the blueberry ones are the best!

the lemon & blueberry cheese tarts had very watery curds that it spilled inside the bag and contaminated each other. the tiramisu cake can was really watery at the bottom and very under bake. what a waste.

Delicious apple raspberry cheesecake and the service was so great too.

So good ??? a must try

Bought 3 of the small cheese cake. There’s more pastry than the cheese cake itself. I asked for the blueberry topping and I believe it is a jam they use. I was expecting a real blueberry. I was very disappointed. The packaging is great but it got to match what it represent and marketing. It is overpriced.

I ordered the fluffy cheesecake on doordash. I really liked the packaging, especially the cute bag. I think the plastic wrap is unnecessary waste. The cheesecake itself didn't do it for me at all. It was way too powdery and not like Japanese cheesecakes I've had before. It also had a somewhat bitter taste that might be due to the specific cheese they used. I think it was a little undercooked. Didn't enjoy it.

They put the cheese tart inside a paper bag that was tiny; it was difficult to carry. Also, they put a wooden spoon inside the bag with the cheese tart without asking us if we needed a spoon because the spoon could have damaged the cheese tart in the tiny bag.

THEY DO NOT ACCEPT CASH!!!Never again buying there.
