Heard great things about this Indian-East African fusion restaurant and was eager to try it - the experience didn't disappoint! There was plenty of space to walk-in and dine inside, and the staff prepared the food in a very timely and efficient manner. The beef kebabs were quite tasty and very crispy, seasoned well without being overpowering in terms of space. The Zanzibar kuku paka was delicious and highly recommended - it's a coconut-based curry dish with bone-in chicken and potatoes, served with fresh garlic naan and seasoned vegetables to garnish on the side. The portion size was massive and definitely hit the spot after a long day. Great experience for such a small restaurant. The owner was helpful and offered his advice on spice levels. The food was so delicious and full of flavour. Good wine and beer selections. Our group left there feeling full and satiated. I would highly recommend this place.I gave it 4 stars only because they didn’t play background music or dim the lights.Parking: Parking is limited and tight.

Attentive and helpful service. The food was delicious. They have beers from a Langley brewery that go perfectly with the food. Tried Patra Bhajia for the first time excellent. I can’t wait to go back and try some other dishes.

However, my review noted that each of our meals came with much less meat than expected. The taste of our meals were very good- no issues there. Our complaint was about the paltry amount of meat, especially considering the price.

Amazing food and great customer service. Everything we ordered was delicious and the portions were massive. One of the best restaurants in Vancouver. Definitely worth stopping by.
I absolutely loved everything we ordered here. The owner was also a very pleasant man. We got the cayenne prawns, kheema mani, chicken tandoori skewers and the lamb curry.
