Shared butter chicken (medium), rice and two separate orders of garlic naan
It was sweet and spicy, enough for two people easily, I’m a weakling when it comes to spice, so I was struggling a bit, worth every bite though.

Excellent Indian food. I recommend the lunch Special: butter chicken and lentils or chickpeas dish, basmati rice, salad and a naan for $14.99 or you can get a vegetarian special. Dine in or take out only.

Food wad okay
Just wanted to highlight the customer service.
The girl with the highlighted long ponny tale… needs to be a professional while working..
Too rude to be serving in a restraunt.

A Delightful Dining Experience with a Small Hiccup

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chakra a restaurant that truly stands out each time I drive by on Hastings. From the moment I walked in, the server immediately greets me feel incredibly welcome, ensuring my dining experience was nothing short of wonderful. Ambiance is welcoming and pleasing

I ordered the lunch special and asked for substitution and she was quick to accommodate. After I had placed the order I noticed that the lunch special came with salad that did not appeal, not having anything wrong with it but simply my personal preference.

The food was of decent quality, with a range of flavors that showcased the rich culinary traditions of India. The lunch special is a bargain for it price, with a decent portion cooked well. While some dishes could have been a bit more seasoned to meet the authentic taste expectations, overall, the meal was satisfying and well-prepared.

What set this restaurant apart was the exceptional service. The server was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She was quick and attentive to check on our table regularly, and respond to any requests promptly. This level of service is rare and made my dining experience truly enjoyable.

However, there was one small hiccup during my visit. This is not a negative but a suggestion being in the hospitality industry myself. When I ordered tea to go, it arrived in a to go cup that was extremely hot to the touch even with the staff using two cups. It is not the most ideal to go cup and and potentially dangerous for patrons taking tea to go. May be most patrons go not take the tea to go I would advise restaurant to shop for alter cups. Other than this recommendation flawless service.

Overall, it is a great spot for those looking to enjoy quality Indian cuisine with outstanding service. Despite the minor issue with the tea, the positive aspects of our experience far outweighed this small inconvenience. We look forward to returning and hope to see the tea served in a more practical manner next time.

Keep up the good work.
