Bought the “Golden Age Black Milk Tea” but it was very watered down, couldn’t taste the tea at all. Also paid extra for coconut milk but there was no hint of coconut milk at all. After about 30 mins, the tea became sour. Huge disappointment from a chain that we thought we can trust. Had to discard the drink as it was not good, and bought another milk tea elsewhere which was far better than Chatime.

We have a gift card / voucher to use when we visited, and wanted to use it for their Pumpkin brown sugar milk tea, for some reason, their system wasn't working properly to scan the voucher. Connie was really helpful and friendly to solve the issue and got our drinks at the end with a smile :)

went to chatime on monday, dec 1 2025 at 5:41PM. I decided to try something new and ordered a brown sugar pearl matcha latte that was super watered down.
when i asked them kindly to switch it to a different drink they refused. They instead added more matcha powder to the point of tasting burnt and bitter. I understand matcha has a slight bitter taste but this was horrible.
I don't know why they couldn't just give me a different drink when i didn't enjoy the one i was given- also, the lady who added more matcha to it acted like it was such a big chore and had a rude demeanour. Also, neither of the 2 employees looked happy to serve and not one smile was present.
Staff in other locations always look happy to serve. I love other Chatime locations but the brentwood location experience was not great.

Bubble tea was not that cheap, and really freaking sweet, even when ordered at half sweetness
'no ice' option should be called 'fill 30% with water'. $8 drink should not be made that way. if someone doesn't want ice give them less product but don't ruin the drink by filling with water to the very top

I love roasted milk tea at chatime. However, this time I was disappointed. I didn’t get boba but there was something in my drink, I thought it was some tea-leaf but turned out it was a BUG. Very disgusting.
