Any of the double baked croissants are amazing! Fav is the matcha almond and almond itself!!! Most generous filling of all the almond croissants I've tried! Never knew double baked could be this good! Staff is super friendly and remembers my favs.

Cute cafe with high end pastries and desserts. House made. Espresso is a bit bitter like typical Metro

The cake I picked up was tasty enough, but it had a gaping hole in it, as if they forgot to put an entire element in it - as you can see in the photo. The croissant I had - hazelnut chocolate - was also very average and rather dry.

A stylish bar with a wide selection of desserts and bakery items. I had an excellent cassis vanilla and a good Americano—perfect for an afternoon recharge! They also offer a variety of homemade products like chocolates and jams. The packaging is also very elegant. The staff is very friendly and immediately attentive.

Flat white was served hot and the latte art was done with care. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with the Individual Tiramisu. It looked elegant, chocolate décor was thin and had a nice snap to it. However, it was highly lacking in coffee taste. A more robust coffee flavour would greatly improve this product.

Lamination on croissant was good. Tasted fresh and flaky. Flat white was alright. Less crema would be appreciated. The Pina Colada cake was a little sweet for my liking, but overall enjoyable. ***Please use gloves when inserting any chocolate decorations. It is highly unappetizing to see thumbprints on chocolate.

I have been coming here for years. So glad to have such a nice cafe in Burnaby. Almost everything is made in-house, even the vanilla syrup, and all their drinks, snacks, pastries, cakes, and chocolates are delicious. One of their new croissants—the Dubai Chocolate Croissant—is absolutely divine! I hope it’s not seasonal and is actually here to stay! I wonder if they would make some Dubai chocolates as well! Yum.

My favorite place for double-baked almond croissants in North Burnaby is simply the best. However, it’s difficult to find a parking spot or seating inside, especially on weekends.

My sister always buys from here so my wife told me she wanted to come here to buy some parties for my teenage daughters. I was a bit disappointed in the service (to be fair, it seemed like couple of staff were in training), but what I was disappointed in was the fact that the presentation was poor. They gave me the pastries in paper bags....we asked could we get a box? Response "oh it will cost extra". We paid $22 for 3 pastries and a small coffee, this is premium price. The service is crucial in these higher end shops. I recommend they say "would you like your order in a paper bag or a box for extra 50 cents" or something like that. They acted surprised when we asked for a box and seemed unwilling to give it...didn't even give a price!? It wasn't even that busy. There was only 1 person infront of us and nobody behind us at 10am.
