Coming back home to Burnaby to visit, and craving highly-rated French pastries, brought me here. I treated my family to a variety of croissants and we were back that week for more, including some small cakes and chocolates. The chocolate raspberry cake was to die for and the pain Suisse - chefs kiss!
Wow! High quality gourmet pastries. The Dubai Chocolate Croissant Cube is absolutely amazing with the best combination of crunch, creaminess, and butteriness all at once. Their croissants were above average as well. The cakes were finely made. Everything tasted delicious. Goes great with a cup of hot milk.
I'd give a 5* for take-out as the bakery and drinks are both really good though they're on the pricier end. But today I sit in the cafe for a while and the atmosphere was so loud. There is only 1 more person sitting there but the music, the many noises coming from the kitchen and behind counter, the noise from 4 employees talking in and out, all create a rather disturbing atmosphere. I was trying to enjoy my drink and looking for a calm afternoon but no, it's noisy...
