I ordered half half from this store. Each piece of chicken was with yellow, maybe fat. some of them tasted fishy. I was wondering whether they have been processed with ginger or other spices to get rid of unpleasant smell. I also ordered in Robson last week, why did their chicken taste good and without yellow? I used to really like Chicko Chicken and ordered many times. Really upset this time.

I tried Chicko Chicken for the first time a few days ago after having walked past it several times since it opened. I can't handle spicy, so I ordered the original flavour option (the person taking my order was very pleasant and helpful).I got a half order of boneless chicken, which was larger than expected—good value for the money. However, I found it to lack flavour. The coating was nice and crisp, but I wanted more salt /pepper.I found some pieces a bit fatty, which is never pleasant. And a dipping sauce would have been a welcome addition. They have several flavour options, which likely have more seasoning.Overall, it wasn't awful, but I probably won't revisit. That said, it's worth a try if you're craving crispy fried chicken.

Excellent location to grab some delicious Korean-style fried chicken for take-out. The seasoning and texture for the original flavor are just right, tender meat inside and not overly crunchy skin outside. Recommended to call and order ahead of time to avoid waiting for up to 20 minutes in your car.

Friendly service and good food! It gets really hot in the store during the summer time, but I think that's the building. Otherwise, one of my favourite places to go for lunch during the work week!

Never going to buy from this place ever again. I loved eating their tasty chicken, but too bad one of their cashier made me never want to go back to this store ever again. I just wanted to get a pop like I did before, the pop was $1.67 and I gave her $1.65 in cash. She told me in front of 2 other customers that I was supposed to give her $1.70, and that people usually give them $1.70. I told her that $1.67 means $1.65 in cash, and she gave me the attitude of “whatever then, I’ll just give you the pop for LESS since it seems like you’re unwilling to pay the correct amount.” I DID GAVE HER THE CORRECT AMOUNT THOUGH! Go check Canada’s website since 2013 when they first introduced the rounding of cents. A 7 rounds down to 5 cents! I know she might be Korean, but you should know this if you are going to work in Canada as a Cashier. I felt wrongfully shamed in front of others in public because of her! By the way, the last time I bought a pop from her too, I accidentally even gave her $1.75 because I misheard it to be $1.77. She didn’t give me back any change either and just took my extra $10 cents. This time, I tried giving her the right amount and she shamed me in front of customers for thinking that I gave her less. I can not believe I was getting called out in public when I followed exactly how the Canadian government showed how the rounding of cents were supposed to be. I know writing this will make her know who I am, but I hope this now lets her know how Canada’s rounding actually works now. I do not want to go back to that place ever again now because I knew I was right but I was told that I was wrong in front of other customers. :(
