Food is great! Meats are significantly better than Kingsway cause its almost no fat on the side at all. Pot on the table is a bit far and non-asian employees refill your soup to the rim of the ceramic but the pot is shorter and it's the stainless. So broth went everywhere!

Trying the new hot pot in Richmond. The other location is in Burnaby and there are some differences.

As much as it's individual pots, the pots are in the centre of the table so not sure how is that convenient as doing a personal hot pot experience. I know. Kids. In that case, there should be some table just for groups with kids. Or honestly, no kid even has hot pot individually at home, or anywhere else, so individual hot pot is really not a thing for kids.

It markets as premium hot pot. I didn't see any dim sum the night I went. But yeah, food was great, as many other hot pot spots. Nothing really out of the ordinary. Also, if it is marketed as premium, there should be more space on the table. It was really too crowded, making the atmosphere not so welcoming and pleasing to dine.

Food was good, but not premium.
Service was great.
Atmosphere can be better.

If you want to try, do it for later dinner. It's cheaper. I wouldn't pay $53 for regular hours. Unless, they improve the food menu.

There were not many customers at noon. The environment was very quiet. The meat was very good and came with snowflakes. The waiter Sky also made beef enoki mushrooms for us. We will come again!

I don’t understand why they charge kids based on height rather than age, which is the standard policy at most hotpot restaurants. My daughter is only 10 years old, but since her height is 155 cm—exceeding the limit they set for kids—they charged her the adult price. Honestly, she eats so much less than adults, and I felt disappointed about this.

Came here for the first time with high expectations and some of them were met, but some were very disappointing.
Arrived for a 7:30 res on a Monday night and was seated at around 7:50. The service, other than the initial delay, was great. Because of the delay we were all given one free drink which was great (I chose the Taiwanese milk tea).
The food was delicious, there's a huge array of foods to choose from and they're all very good. Ranging from any hot pot ingridient you can think of to dim sum and pastries, you can really tell they use high quality ingridients for everything.
The broths we had (tomato, spicy, sukiyaki) were all also very good except for the fact that there was a hair in the sukiyaki broth which was an unpleasant surprise. We were given a $10 discount for this. Overall, food was great and service was good but some unfortunate incidents made the meal not the best memory. Hopefully it'll be better next time because I like the food.

A Hot Pot Delight
Chocho is a fantastic hot pot spot. The broths are flavorful, the ingredients are fresh, and the service is efficient. While a bit pricey, the overall dining experience is worth it.

We looked at the website before coming stating walk-ins are welcome. So we decided to drive an hour to try this place out.

At 510, we were told there is a table but there is an hour time limit, I thought that is short but we can try to finish within an hour. By the time we sat down and ordered it was 515. At 545, we were told we had to leave in 10 mins. So we had 30-45 to order and eat. Paid full price, it didn't seem fair. And at the end the ice cream machine didn't work, so 2 of us didn't get ice cream. It definitely wasn't a great experience. Should have told us we have about 30 mins to eat and we would have gone somewhere else.

You know if you apply a discount or be a bit more understanding, it would have been fine, but we were basically rushed to get out of the place.

If you don't have a reservation, don't even come, definitely not worth the wait, not worth the price.

I recently visited Cho Cho, a premium AYCE hot pot restaurant. The quality of the meat stood out—it was tender, juicy, and truly impressive. The vegetables were fresh, but the selection was limited, which was a bit disappointing for an AYCE spot.

The cooked dishes were dry and just average, lacking the flavor you’d expect from a premium establishment. The biggest letdown, however, was the broth—it was plain and underseasoned, which really diminished the overall experience. To make matters worse, the servers seemed overwhelmed and didn’t refill our broth promptly, leaving us waiting longer than we should have.

While the meat was a highlight, the other aspects didn’t quite meet expectations for a "premium" hot pot experience.

Terrible experience at this location. Was not able to use a gift card I received as a gift. Staff said they did not have a gift card reader after I specifically called and checked before hand.

No where on the card said it was for one specific location.

HOW RIDICULOUS IS THAT!

Super disappointing. Wouldn’t come back.

I like the girl who took the seat tonight. She is good-looking and has a good personality. The waitress is also very good. She fills up the meat, dishes, soup and water very quickly. I didn’t even have time to say that everything was filled up on her own initiative. It’s the first time that ayce was... People ask if they want more meat after eating it, hahaha, anyway, I am very happy and delicious! The price is also right
