This café is the only option on Floor G for the people of Burnaby, but it’s often crowded during the week with high school students from across the street, leaving little room for others.
The service could be better. On multiple occasions, I’ve gone for coffee around 2:15 PM, only to be told that the machines were already cleaned and they couldn’t take any orders—even though they claim to serve until 3:30 PM.
The food quality also doesn’t compare to the café on the other side near Deer Lake 1. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this place.
The burger and fries were good. Menu is alright. However, the offering should be better than this given they have enough people and students around to support the inclusion of higher quality of food in their menu. Nothing but sandwiches and burgers here. Then again the kitchen seems very small so I get it. There is a nice eating area right outside too which is very pleasant in sunny days. Prices are reasonable. Service was quick and good.

The line up can be long at peak times, even extending beyond the door of the cafeteria. Food offerings are very reasonably priced and affordable. Food is not bad. Staff are helpful, but not out of their way friendly. Very crowded during lunch with no tables left, however, there is seating outdoors. Food is prepared within 5-15 minutes, depending on item and time. Disposable wooden cutlery is available, self-serve. There is a coffee machine, but it is sometimes out of service.

Good burgers, good fries
Best deal in the area for a quality meal at a good price.
Had the chicken burger & fries, not bad for the price. Just tried the bacon burger, that was a huge mistake. First off, the meat smelled of "fish" and tasted like what could only be described as an old tuna fish type taste. Which is disgusting to say the least, the meat looked like something I could really not describe as actual hamburger meat. Just sad, the kitchen staff reflect the products you get.

Decent food and very friendly staff
Fatso lady tried to touch students
The cashier is very rude to students even though they constantly buy food from there. Students aren’t allowed to sit down even though there is no one else sitting down. They also hired a security guard that is mean and asks you when you at lining up for food if you are going to buy. He has also harassed people who obviously bought something and waiting for food to leave if they didn’t buy anything. Overall would not recommend going to eat at this poorly ran cafe.
They dont allow high schoolers to sit even if they payed for their overpriced trash
Lady spat in my face when I asked for a napkin and proceeded to kick me out of the cafe because of my skin colour and my lisp
