COBS Bread Bakery Marine Way

Fantastic customer service, the staff working there is absolutely mind blowing.

This is normally my go to place for bread. Came to Cobs specifically for something but it was not ready yet which is fine. She told me to come back in 30min. I decided to come back in an hour just in case it was not ready yet and when I got there, she told me another 20min. Quite a bit annoyed because I left to come back and now she’s telling me to come back again. It was the bakers fault not hers. I just wish they would’ve gave me a more accurate time. I don’t have time to wait so I left annoyed.

I bought some ham and cheese croissants. There was cheese sticking out of the ends, as if it was overflowing. Hardly. There was barely any ham or cheese in any of them. They were mostly dry croissants. I'd be surprised if there was part of a shaved thin slice of ham in all 4 combined. The cheese at the ends is obviously for deception, since there was barely any (if any at all) inside. It was a big disappointment, especially considering the cost. They were terrible. I won't be shopping there again

My every week go to for fresh breads. The products always look and taste good. The girls in the front are very friendly and great customer service. My personal favourite is Apricot loaf, Jalapeno Twist and Cinnamon buns. I also like to try their seasonal faves like peach danish, butter tart and cranberry baguette!

The quality and freshness of their baked goods are exceptional.I highly recommend it and will definitely be coming back!

Went to COBS for my friends birthday and he got a free warm, fresh cinnamon bun and was given a very enthusiastic “happy birthday!!” by the servers. Love both the sweet and savoury breads and pastries at COBS. The service is always very good and the the store is clean and well organized.

Dietary restrictions: I don’t believe COBS is safe for nut allergies.

Parking: Lots of parking in the mall parking lot

Kid-friendliness: It’s a tight space when you go in so not a lot of room for kids to run around, but it is fine for kids to be in here

Was walking by at 8:33 at night and saw about 20 mice running around inside... running all over the machines all over the shelf where the bread goes and gets cooked....

They are the worst employers you could ever encounter. They treat all their employees like slaves. My husband and I worked at this store for over a year. During this time, anyone who worked there was either fired for requesting a shift change or asking for days off, which are their rights. Employees including Betul, Muzdalifa, Somayyeh, Nigel, my husband, and myself were all either forced to quit or fired for the same reasons. My husband was fired for requesting to work part-time. After that, they reduced my hours, even though we are two separate employees. Additionally, I am pregnant, and instead of supporting me during my pregnancy, they forced me to quit by reducing my hours. If I wanted to maintain the same hours, I was required to work the busiest shifts alone, as they stated. The wife of the owners engages in bullying behavior towards all employees. They often hire people who have just arrived in Canada because they are unaware of their rights. Furthermore, they pressured us to sign agreements stating that we did not want overtime payments if we wanted to work. If you are considering applying for a job at this place, please think twice.
