Good coffee and nice shop. Prices are a bit high but quality is good.
Japanese-owned coffee shop with no part-time staff – just pure dedication to coffee craft. They take every cup seriously with genuine Japanese precision.
There's a massive machine inside that looks like something from Howl's Moving Castle – possibly a bean roaster?
No rushing, no shortcuts – just methodical preparation and real expertise in every cup.
Order at the cashier and pick up your drinks on the side counter. I ordered the special cold brew coffee for $6. Most of the glass was full of ice and the coffee was very watered down... it didn't taste good at all. Ambiance is ok - open concept (high roof), a book shelf and some decorations. Free street parking
It is a great place for meetings and also for settling in for a read. It is spacious and also fairly quiet even when people are talking at their tables.
The owner roasts his own beans. I recommend buying beans there.
Every time I am there, I go for the cortado and a Ham and Cheese Croffin.
I usually spend an hour there and there is plenty of parking on the street in front of the store.

A beautiful place, very comfortable and quiet. The music was amazing; it's always a pleasure to listen to The Beatles with a good cup of coffee and an Ade pineapple.

The owner is passionate about coffee. He roasts his coffee himself and keeps exploring other coffee recipes. So I am not surprised the coffee here really rocks here.
The bread offering is also awesome. My favorite combo is espresso bun and pour over coffee. Pour over is a hidden menu and available only outsife the peak time

Love this hidden gem of Burnaby. Cozy & comfy atmosphere + relaxing playlist. Their coffee is great, served by a kind owner. There are some free street parking spots (1 hour).
